Chifuyu called out to the curly-haired girl. Ame looked at him and smiled.

"You are such a slowpoke, hurry!"

Chifuyu huffed as he hurriedly climbed the stairs as Ame sat on the edge, waiting for him. Both of them were on top of a cliff and were sunset viewing. Chifuyu finally reached the top as Ame giggled at his exhausted face. Both of you looked at the sea and the setting sun.

"The view's really beautiful."
Ame spoke as Chifuyu looked at her.

"Yeah, I've seen it every day. Beautiful? No, she's masterpiece herself."

Ame smiled at the statement and looked at the setting sun sadly.

"Yeah... She is a masterpiece."

Ame thought as she remembered Jan and Chifuyu's moments together. The two were inseparable, but her thoughts were wrong. Chifuyu was in love with Ame, she adored her like she was art herself. Chifuyu noticed her sad look as he sat next to her.

"Hey, something wrong?"
he asked as the girl looked at him, with the same sad look. She smiled and looked at him, she held his hand and looked back at the sea and the setting sun.

"Y'know, we've been friends for a long time already... 7 years? Damn."

"Yeah, what about it?"
Chifuyu asked holding her hand gently, Ame blushed as she looks at their intertwined hands.

"Look, Ame. I've been thinking about this for a long time and maybe it's time... I-I like you."
Chifuyu says, tightening his hold on her hand. Ame blushed as she continued to listen to him.

"Like, Jan had to slap me just to make me realize how much I like you, and I might say something weird but... Can I court you?"

He asked as Ame hugged him.

"Of course Chifuyu!"
she yelled as tears of joy rolled down her cheeks, Chifuyu gasped as he smiled hugging her back.

"B-But w-wait, aren't you and Jan dating or something?"
Ame asked as Chifuyu burst out laughing as Ame looked away in embarrassment, feeling she said something wrong.

"S-sorry, no we aren't, Jan is dating Baji-san! She's been giving me advice on how to confess and she was the one who suggested we go here."

Ame blushed in embarrassment at the small misunderstanding as Chifuyu giggled and patted her head.

"Don't worry, I'm all yours,"
he said as he placed a small kiss on her forehead, she giggled as both of them looked at the now dark sky, the stars, and the full moon. Ame looked at the distance admiring how the sea looked so peaceful and beautiful under the moon. Chifuyu looked at her and then at the moon.

"The moon is beautiful isn't it?"

Ame felt her cheeks heat up as Chifuyu giggled upon noticing her blushing face. She looked at him, Chifuyu looked back at her and smiled, the male stroked her cheeks, his other wrapped around his waist slowly pulling her close to him, Ame could feel her heart beating fast than a speeding bus, she looked at Chifuyu's light blue eyes. They looked so enchanting and she was drawn to it.

"C-Chifuyu..."
Ame mumbled as Chifuyu smiled and leaned in, kissing her. Ame smiled, kissing back.

And the sea, the stars, and the ocean were the first witnesses to their love story.
