The next day, Kai was at his work in the guitar store, staring at the entrance door as he watched the passersby walking along the path, and waited. He looked at the lockscreen of his phone, which was lying right in front of him on the counter, and searched for the messenger icon that should pop up any second. He propped his arms on the counter and let his head rest on the palm of his hand as he looked at his phone with a boring gaze.

He waited and waited and waited. It felt like hours that he looked at the empty lockscreen, only seeing Beomgyu's face as his wallpaper, smiling at him happily as he hugged Kai tightly. But in reality it was only fifteen minutes that he waited for his reply. Kai looked at the text again he had sent Beomgyu almost twenty minutes ago.

>> Are we still going to watch the sunset together today?<<

Since last week Kai had an anxious feeling creeping in his chest and arms and legs, thinking about how Beomgyu acted that day. Kai didn't mind that Beomgyu hung out with Soobin often but since they went to the park he acted weird all of a sudden.

Beomgyu is in his room all day, not bothering to come out and eat with Kai but rather eating alone in his room. He only gives short answers and rarely speaks up on his own, not starting any conversation by himself. And Beomgyu hasn't looked Kai in the eyes since that day. It was weird. He always makes eye contact with the person he is talking to.

Kai once asked him if everything was okay but Beomgyu only smiled widely as a response and told him that he was just chatting with Soobin very often and that's why he is in his room all day. He said that Soobin got a lot of things to talk about and that's why he is always with Soobin these days. He said Kai shouldn't worry because that is normal for someone who has more than one friend.

But is it normal to not talk to his other friend anymore? Is it normal to avoid eye contact with his friend because he is busy with his other friend?

Kai wasn't even sure anymore, if Beomgyu was right about that, because he hadn't had more than one friend for the last six years and he forgot how it felt to have more. He loved Beomgyu and he wanted him to be happy so he tried not to think about it too much. If he really was too busy hanging out with Soobin that much then Kai should just let him because who was he to forbid that?

Although, since they went to the park together, Kai fell into a moment where he thought he was trapped in a dream. It still felt unreal to him, but seeing Yeonjun again after six years, thinking he was gone forever but in reality he never left, felt like a big relief for him. He had his best friend back. Seeing him and talking with him were the things that were possible again and he always couldn't wait to meet him right after finishing work. And if Beomgyu would decline his question of hanging out together, he would go to Yeonjun and would spend time with him because he was now able to do that again.

He still needed to adjust to that. Having Yeonjun as his best friend back but only getting to see him at a specific time and place was something that he didn't expect when he wished his best friend back. But it wasn't that difficult as it perfectly timed up with his work schedule. He was just glad that he had Yeonjun back because he had missed him so much.

Just as Kai was about to lock his phone again a young boy came into the store, opening the entrance door. Kai could hear the sound of the cars driving past the store and the wind rushing with them when the entrance door stood open for a few seconds.

"Good afternoon!" Kai greeted him with half a smile, putting on his work face as he pushed his phone away from him.

"Hi." The boy greeted him with a shy undertone and looked through the store busely. Kai watched him for a few seconds before looking back on the counter.
