The moment Toya and Ayumi turned the corner to see the large prestigious building in the distance, both of their hearts stirred with untold excitement and anxiety, knowing that the dream they had wished for as children had finally come true.
They even recalled pulling on their mother and fathers hand as they passed the school when they were kids, proclaiming that they were going to continue on the Bakugo/Todoroki legacy as heroes and do great things together.
Just seeing the look of pride on their parents' faces was enough to hold onto that goal for fifteen years, and now it was finally time to step onto the very same grounds that held so many memories for their family.
Giving a heavy breath of courage, Toya began to play with the straps on his backpack, feeling intimidated by the large structure in front of them. "Well, I guess this is it. It's almost hard to believe, huh?"
Ayumi only narrowed her eyes though, staring straight ahead in order to give a small nod in agreement. "We are finally going to be like mother and father. I'm glad."
Her response gave the boy a sharp chill though, knowing the complete and utter responsibility that laid ahead of the fifteen year olds. "Yeah, I just hope I don't mess it up."
Twisting her brow together in thought, Ayumi then reached down silently before giving her brother a squeeze of his hand, shaking him out of his racing worries before giving a small smile. "You're not alone, brother."
And that action seemed to do the trick, as all of the nerves seemed to dissipate with her tiny bit of emotion, causing the boy to squeeze back before letting go and stepping forward.
For as plain and robotic as Ayumi was most of the time, she was a reassuring presence in his life, something he was always grateful for. It didn't matter if the girl only spoke when necessary, every word was important to her. "I know. Thanks Yumi. Well here goes nothing, right?"
Grabbing onto his backpack straps one more time, Toya sighed before finally stepping onto the property of U.A. for the first time as students. This was it. His future started right now.
Yet as soon as the twins passed through the entrance, various stares and whispers started immediately as the other kids seemingly recognized Toya and Ayumi's faces from various news and magazines across the years.
Their parents had accomplished quite a feat over the years after all. Their mother being trained by Endeavor and Hawks while being put on display for the world to see multiple times, including her confession to their father.
That, along with putting All of One and the infamous League of Villains in prison, starting a successful agency with Bakugo Katsuki, ranking in the top five heroes and then plummeting so far down in just a couple years.
As much as they didn't want to admit it, the Bakugo/Todoroki family was the most talked about family in Japan, and now that their children were here at U.A it was surely the talk of the school.
Toya didn't really enjoy all the staring though, the boy purposely avoiding eye contact with everyone and everything in order to get to his class as fast as possible. The last thing he wanted was to be stopped and gossiped about.
Looking between the different class numbers, Toya then paused when he saw a very familiar beret wearing, dorky glasses girl just a couple feet away, the boy feeling his heart twist in his chest before Elise and him made eye contact.
Ah, that's right. She was here also, in the support class.
Elise's eyes widened at the sight, seemingly happy to see the boy before lifting up her hand and waving to him goofily as Toya gave a lightheart chuckle under his breath. Still the same old Elise.
