"Did you look over Lucas's grades, he would be a wonderful addition to your school, I would love to keep him here but the classes are just too easy for him and I am worried he will fall into one of the gangs, from what I can find out, his parents are beyond useless and have never turned up to anything at the school"
"Yes, his grades are amazing the essays are way beyond his age and should be university level, I believe he would fit in at the academy, so you requested the scholarship and from what you just said, I will make sure he gets the full amount, I will send over the paperwork for you to complete and I will let you know when I have spoken to the board"
"Thank you Faith, speak to you later"

2 weeks later
The bell rang for the end of the day "Luca can you stay behind for a second" everyone quickly left the room, Luca slowly walked to the teachers desk
"Luca it's nothing to worry about, it's actually really good news, so as of Monday you are now enrolled at Kingsdown Academy" luca's mouth was hanging open "wwwhat, I can't afford that, wwwhat"
"It's all sorted, you have a full scholarship, I'm sad to see you go but you were finding the work to easy and it will help you for university" Luca laughed and muttered "what university" the teacher handed him a bag, he took it and started to open it up "it's your uniform, 3 trousers, 5 shirts, 3 jumpers, 2 ties and a PE kit" "ummmmm" he scratched his head "sorry I'm confused, why and how is this happening?" "I put you forward I'm friends with the headmaster, you have a bright future and you are so bright I don't want you to end up with a gang and dead" Luca held in a laugh and just rolled his eyes and them mumbled "to late for that" "what did you say?" "Thank you for this" holding up the bag "oh lastly this is your schedule" which Luca took, it's basically the same classes as this school "good luck" "thanks" he muttered as he walked out the school.
Luca made his way through the streets and to the tiny bit of land behind a row of houses, on this bit of land housed his tent, his home yes he was homeless yet no one worked it out. He was lucky in a way the local gangs knew he was homeless and this was his tent no one had ever harassed him, which he thought was strange but he had a lot of other things to worry about he walked past Harry "Hi Harry, how you doing?" "I'm good thanks for asking" Harry wasn't all there in the head and Luca gave him food when he had extra.
He was going to start a new school 3 weeks into the new school year meaning most people had made friends but then who started a new school in their final year of school, not that he cared about making friends it was safer if he didn't, didn't want people finding out that he was homeless and the fact that everyone at that school came from money as you had to pay to go there.
He put the bag with all the clothes into the tent and then climbed in after, the tent was a tight fit with his few processions and the fact he was 6 foot but it was his home, he had a nap when he woke up, it was starting to get dark, he grabbed his bag and his school uniform he wasn't going to lose this, it was coming with him. He started to make his way over to his usual spot to see if any food was thrown out that he could have for dinner.
