"Hey Shannon, madam called you." Janelle said to me, one of aunties staff.
"Merci Janelle." At pinuntahan ko na si auntie.
Pumunta ako sa cashier center coz for sure andun sya. And yup! Andito nga sya pero she's entertaining one of the costumers. So I just sat and waited.
"Hi auntie." Sabi ko naman nung matapos sila.
"Oh there you are. Shannon my dear, you need to rest now. Every staff here bas a schedule to rest. And its your time to rest." Bungad nya naman sakin.
"Ahh okay po. But auntie can I spemd my rest time looking there at the accessory area?" Paghihingi permiso ko.
"Alright, suit yourself."
So yun umalis na ako at pumunta sa accessories. Lahat ng staff dito friend ko na kaya pinagbibiruan nila ako.
Eto sila nagkukunwaring isa ako sa mga costumers ng shop. Tss. Mga baliw talaga.
But right now, nasa jewelry sections ako. Naiintriga ako sa mga 'Bling Bling' dito. Astig eh. Pero may napansin akong lalaking tumabi sakin.
Naliligaw ba ang lalaking to? Oh bakla kaya sya? This is the girls section dude. Tss.
"Jewelry is one of my favorite things of girls." Napatingin ako sa nagsalita. British eh.
"Are you gay?" Then he laughed. Yup its Matthew.
"No, I just grew up in mom's stuff. And jewelries are my favorite. Mom hid my dad's things when dad died." Pag eexplain nya.
"Ooh. But you know these are only fashion jewelries right? This aint a pawnshop for real jewelries." I laughed.
"Pawnshop?" Ay shet. British pala to kala ko Pinoy.
"Sorry I mean jewelry shops." Nakakahiyaaa!! Waaah!!
"Ooh." Describe AWKWARD: Our situation. Tss.
"So have you bought anything?" Paninimula ko ng bagong topic.
"Oh I was waiting for this girl who took my size on the stock room then I found you here. So I came to you." Sagot nya naman.
"Well she should be here any minute."
At yung nag usap pa kami ng usap hanggang sa dumatinv na yung nag assist sa kanya kaya umalis na ako at bumalik sa counter para mag observe hanggang sa tinatamad na ako.
"Bored? Punch the order of your friend." Bulong ni auntie. Parating kasi si Matthew.
"Panu mo-?"
"Nakita ko kayo sa front door kanina and there." Sabay turo sa accessory area.
So yun nilapitan ko sya at pinunch yung mga pinamili nya habang naka busangot ang mukha ko. And the smile on his face disappeared.
Nung natapos ko na pinaharap ko yung screen sakanya para malaman nya ang price at binigyan nya lang ako ng card kaya kinuha ko naman at nag swipe na. And then..
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Sagot ko naman.
"Seems not. By the way, who's she? You're mom?" Tiningnan ko yung tinutukoy na. Geez. Si Auntie lang naman na kumakaway samin.
"My aunt." Tipid kong sagot.
"She's hyper. So hey, can I ask you out tonight?" Sa pagkasabi nya nun nahulog ko yung card nya.
"Oops Sorry." At nag bent down ako para pulutin. And guess what I was smiling like an idiot. Nung napulot ko na back to friendly face nanaman ako. "Here."
"So what's your answer?" He asked. Agaun nung makuha nya yung card.
"Uhm sure." I smiled.
"Great! What time do you close here?" He asked.
"10 PM." I aswered.
"Okay then, I'll get you at 8." Before maka comment ako sa sinabi nya, tumalikod na sya.
And when he went out of the shop and got in his car. Biglang nagsigawan ang mga nakaring ng.
"AAAAAYIIIIIIIEEEEEEE"
6:30 Pm
"Shannon." I heard auntie calling. Kaya pinuntahan ko sya.
"Bakit po?" Sabi ko naman nung makarating ako sakanya.
At nung pagkaharap nya sakin. "What do you want to where form these?"
Well, si auntie kasi kanina pa abala kung ano ipapasuot sakin mamaya sa dinner namin ni Mathew.
And guess what, she gave me these choices. A blue, laced designed, pencil dress and A red, backless, revealing front dress. WAGAS!
Napa iling naman ako sa mga napili ni auntie so I decided to pick my own dress. At ayun ako na nga ang naghanap sa store obviously FOR SALE ang mga pinipilian ko.
And the search is over. Nakapili ako ng isang mint green na dress na flowy yung baba and its above the knee tapos may black bow sya para fitting.
Sinuot ko ito and I paired it with my 4 inched sandal. Then I went out for them to see me. And there my auntie stood.
"Perfect outfit." She said.
