Aspen and I chose a seat at the front of the classroom. Well Aspen did, ever the picture perfect student he said he needed to, so he could absorb as much information as possible.
The teacher and a majority of the students hadn't arrived yet. The ones that had stared at Aspen and I in curiosity.
"I have the perfect game to help us get to know each other. How about twenty questions?"
"Sure" I answered.
"I'll go first. Dogs or cats?"
I was kind of stuck with that question. Cats were so cute and easy to handle but dogs were so loving and fun.
"Dogs"
"Me too"
"Favourite hobby?" I asked.
"Definitely swimming. Yours?"
Only one thing came to mind but I was reluctant to mention it again. It was pointless to get myself interested in music because at the end of the day I'd never be able to make something out of it. I wasn't good enough. Certainly not as good as my mother and even she never made it.
Hesitantly I finally answered.
"Singing"
Aspen's eyes sparkled.
"You have to sing for me one day"
I rolled my eyes at his excitement and nervously fiddled with my fingers.
"I said it was my favourite hobby I never said I was good at it"
"Puh-lease, I bet you're amazing" he scoffed.
Before I could make a sound of protest more students piled in and so did our teacher.
Aspen was basically mute once our Chemistry teacher walked in. He was a tall, lanky man with cute black glasses and wavy red hair. His green eyes albeit tired were filled with excitement.
Someone else walked in after him. Someone that made my heart skip a beat by just breathing the same air as me.
The handsome specimen crossed the room but stopped abruptly once he caught me staring. I froze and held my breath. Taking in the peppermint and pine. His green eyes narrowed down at me then his lips formed a scowl. He marched past to the seat behind me and I let out my breath in relief.
"Okay class. Let's continue our discussion about covalent bonds" the teacher said giddily.
I kept my head down the entire lesson and took notes.
Oh gosh why does he have to be so damn hot!?
The first guy I like in this school is an el cabrón (bastard/asshole)
A stunningly perfect el cabrón (bastard/asshole)
No.
No.
No.
I don't like him.
I never will.

The bell rang and I quickly packed my things hoping Aspen was doing the same. I wasn't fast enough.
He bumped my shoulder and rushed out of the classroom. I shivered in response.
"What the hell did you do to Jax Gryffin?" Aspen asked once we were out of the classroom.
