We pull up to a very quiet neighbourhood that had predominantly white people and big beautiful houses that overlooked the city. It had such an amazing view.
"We're here" Dean says as he pressed a button that switches off the engine.
"Wow, this is beautiful." I say as I look over the city.
"This is my favourite park and everyone knows that, well... everyone who knows me knows that." Dean explains.
" I like to come here to clear my head and maybe light up a cigarette, have a drink or maybe kis...you get it. It's my go to spot." Dean continues to explain.
I look at him in disbelief, did he bring me here to apologise or slide in my pants for real this time? I'm getting annoyed I should tell him I want to go home now. But it's only 16:30 what will be my excuse? The bathroom!!! I'll tell him I need the bathroom.
"Millie?" He calls.
"What?" I say as I look him in the eyes.
He's got really beautiful eyes. How can I be annoyed at him? No stay focused Millie don't ease up on him, he's still just a guy you met today, remember?
" Are you okay? You seem a bit out of it". He asks.
Uhhh boys are so annoying why is he asking me an obvious question? Act cool Millie, you don't want him to think you're crazy.
" I'm fine, I just want to know. Do you bring all the girls here?" I ask.
"Wha... well, why , what would make you think that?" He struggles to answer.
"Come on Dean, you only brought me here to get lucky, so typical." I say with tears filling up my eyes.
"First my bed now this, I can't believe you're tricking me again. How much do I owe you for the lunch because you're not about to reward yourself with m..." I scream at him crying.
"Millie, stop!" He yells.
" I don't want anything from you, and I won't take anything from you. I am really sorry about this morning. I didn't expect you to be in your bed I guess I got used to Angela being alone I forgot she could possibly have a roommate. I was just as shocked when I woke up, trust me. Also I have this weird thing of needing a bed to sleep on no matter where I am." Dean explains.Dean leans over to hug me and assures me that he meant no harm. His voice starts to break and I can see the sincerity in his eyes.
" I am really sorry I upset you, I don't know how else to make it up to you. I'm really harmless, I'm just a dude who got caught up doing a wrong thing last night, please forgive me?" He asks as he leans out of the hug.
"Take me home, please". I ask softly.
Dean immediately starts the car and we drive into the city.
