𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 💌𝒔𝒐𝒐𝒃𝒊𝒏

it was another interview with the same old questions, but soobin had to make it seem as though he had never heard that question before and answer it a different way. which was getting close to impossible, with the Korean language having only so much vocabulary.

that was until a question about you was asked, pulling in all of his attention.

"so soobin, its no secret that you are dating. how long now?" the interviewer asked.

"its gonna be 2 years in a couple of weeks." he replied, subconcously smiling at the thought of you.

"but you only revealed that you were dating 2 months ago right?" the interviewer continued.

"yes thats correct."

"wow im surprised you've lasted so long." the interviewer chuckled.

"excuse me?"

"well i mean you're a VERY handsome guy, so it's a surprise that you went for someone like y/n." he continued.

sitting next to him, huening kai could sense soobin tensing up as the seconds passed. "i think you should-" kai got cut off by the interviewer.

"you're surrounded by so many beautiful idols so im surprised you're not dating one of them, and with all the rumors going around the internet about you and smarteyes' jiyun it was an even bigger shock when it was revealed that you were dating a nobody like y/n." he laughed.

"that's enough." taehyun stopped the interviewer. kai wearily put his hand on soobin's thigh to calm him down, carefully glancing over at his stiffened expression.

"soobin-"

"who i choose to date is no-ones business, not yours or the public's, and you have no right to disrespect my girlfriend that way. so that will be all for this interview. thank you." soobin let out, wanting to be professional as there were still multiple cameras pointed at his face.

with that he got up, heading to the exit leading backstage, with the boys following behind not even giving a glance at the interviewer.

you had sat there in the dressing room watching the whole interview, a few of the staff members wearily looking at you with concerned faces.

it would be a lie to say that it didn't hurt to hear that this was how people viewed you.

an ugly nobody.

the door of the green room opened revealing a hot-tempered soobin, but his expression softened once he made eye contact with you.

taking large strides towards you he didn't say anything, just engulfing you into his arms.

"i love you. you know that right." he softly let out.

"yeah..." you whispered against his chest. he let you go, leaning back to look at you. your eyes glossed with trapped tears.

"baby-" he began

"what if he's right?" you cut him off, now looking down at your feet that looked so small next to his. "you can have anyone you want so why did you choose me?" your voice cracked, struggling to hold back your tears.

by this time the boys and staff had left the room giving you guys privacy.

"hey look at me," he gently lifted your chin up to face him.

"i chose you because i love you and everything about you, from your beautiful face all the way down to how you hate wearing wet socks even if its just got as little as one drop of water on them." you both laughed from his words,

"so please dont compare yourself to anyone. cause they can never match up to you."

"but-" he cut you off with a kiss, "no buts, you're the only one for me. i love YOU okay." he wiped your fallen tears with his thumb, kissing you again.

this time it was soft and careful, almost as if he was scared he would break you.

"alright love birds, that's enough." beomgyu laughed as they were now all entering the room.

smiling into the kiss, you pulled away. embarrassed by the jeers of the members and staff.

"i love you too." you tiptoed adding one last kiss against soobins soft plump lips, before walking away letting him get changed out of his clothes.
