I woke up while removing kari from around me and going into the bathroom and using it while flushing the toilet, and washing my hands
I dried my hands off and headed back into the room while remembering today's Kari's birthday so I decided to go downstairs and make him breakfast since yesterday I started a petty ass argument over nothing
I seen Lamila downstairs so I decided to speak to her
"Hey boo" I said while she looked up and lazily smiled
"Hey" She said groggy while putting her head back down
"What the hell happened to you?" I asked her
"Me and Remy went out last night and let's just say we got crazy drunk" She said while I laughed
"Bet y'all won't do that again" I said while making the waffle mix
"What are you doin up this early?" She asked me
"Well today's kari birthday and today I wanted to make it special for him and cause I really started a petty argument for nothing"I said while she nodded
"You really started an argument with him for nothing and I'm just saying from explanation yesterday" She said while I agreed
"That's why I'm making an I'm sorry breakfast and taking him out today since he's always treating me and the baby" I said
"Don't you forget, we gotta plan the baby shower today when you get back" She said while I nodded fixing kari plate
"Trust me, ima get on it" I said while handing mina her plate and grabbing the tray I got for kari
"Nope, put it down" Mina said while I looked back and mugged her
"Why?" I asked her
"Girl you can't be caring that, so let me help you" She said while grabbing the tray
"Umm it's not heavy" I said while she rolled her eyes
We walked upstairs while stopping outside my room
"Nie give it to him, I just didn't need you dropping anything since you wanted to make it special" She said while I smiled
She opened the door while I walked in and sat the tray on his nightstand
"Wake up Bae" I said while kissing his face which made him stir in the bed
He opened his eyes and smiled while I laughed
"Good morning babyyy and Happyyyy Birthdayyyyyyy" I said while pecking his lips
"Good morning and thank you" He said while kissing me
I handed him the tray while sitting in front of him so I can eat with him
"So what you wanna do today?" I asked him
"Chill" He said while eating and looking at me
"You don't wanna go nowhere" I said while looking at him
"Nah, just wanna spend it with you" He said while I smiled
"Okay, we can do that but I gotta plan our baby shower" I said while he looked at me
"You meant gender reveal?" He questioned me
"Nope, I gotta pick the colors I wanna do then mina gone handle the rest" I said while he nodded
"What colors you got so far?" He asked me
"I was thinking just doin the normal colors then going on bout it from there" I said while he nodded
We finished eating while I sat the tray on the nightstand and just sat on kari lap
"Why you don't wanna celebrate your birthday?" I asked and he sighed
"Cause it mean closer to my siblings death date of when we hurried them" He said while I held him
"You know it's gone be okay, right?" I stated while he nodded
"I know, but I wanna name my kids after them" He said while I nodded
"What was your siblings name?" I asked him
"Ayanna and my brudda name was NeKari" He said while I smiled
"I like those names" I said while he chuckled
"So if we have a girl, we can name her Ayanna Zamora Jones and if we have a boy then will name him NeKari Latrell Jones" I said while looking him
"I'm fucking with it" He said, rubbing my stomach while I yawned
"You finna tap out?" He asked me and I nodded while dozing off on his chest
