(Y/n) and Vi gently placed down the injured Caitlyn who grunted as she felt another pain shot through out her leg.

"Will she be okay?" Vi asked worriedly.

"She'll be fine." (Y/n) nodded as he sat next to her making her lay her head on his shoulder.

"I'll be right back."Vi said as she tapped Caitlyn's uninjured leg and stood up running towards the gate and peakimg around only to come back in when a horde of enforcers ran past her.

"You okay, Cupcake?"

"Yeah." Caitlyn nodded as she took out the container with a grunt. She rotated the sides and it opened only to reveal there's nothing inside.

"It's gone." Caitlyn said in a bit of a panick.

"What?" Vi yelled a bit shock that the stone that was secured in there was stolen.

"She's gotten smart, really smart." (Y/n) sighed. "It was all for nothing." He massaged his temples as he stared at Vi's expression which turned into a one with regret and tears coming from her eyes.

"Come on, let's go, I know where we can go."  (Y/n) said as he stood but Caitlyn stopped him.

"We can't go to your house, it's too far and it's almost morning, the enforcers will be everywhere for search." Caitlyn grunted as she stood up with the help of Vi.

"Then where?" Vi asked.

"My house ans I pray my mom and dad is out." Caitlyn muttered the last bit, (Y/n) nodded and guided them towards her house, using his entrance in and way towards her window. Vi put her hood on along with (Y/n) doing the same as they both used their fingertips to lift the window softly and succeeded, they jumped in landing on their toes to not create a sound and pulled Caitlyn in with a loud grunt.

"It's been awhile since I sneaked into this room." (Y/n) chuckled and walked Caitlyn along with Vi to the middle of Caitlyn's bedroom which proved to be a bad idea as the door was kicked open and a shotgun cocked at them making them stand still like a dear caught in the headlights with wide eyes.

"Caitlyn!" Her mother exclaims making (Y/n) pull his hood harder trying to hide his feature from her mother.

"Oh. We were so worried. Thank goodness you're safe!" Her father yelled as he ran towards his daughter to hug her and check the wound on her face.

"Oh and you find two strays." Her mother muttered loud enough for all of them to hear.

"This is Vi." Caitlyn said a bit demanding towards her mother. "That is...(Y/n), they're from the undercity."

"So I see, wait (Y/n)? As in (Y/n) (L/n)?" Her mother asked with wide eyes and a sarcastic smile. (Y/n) removed his hood with a glare scaring the woman a bit. "Could we have a word, Caitlyn? In private"

Caitlyn sighed and shook her head with distaste and left behind her...whatever Vi is to her and her fiancé alone in her room. The door to room shut causing a awkward atmosphere in the room for both Vi and (Y/n).

"So...you've never met her parents?" Vi asked and sat on the bed to clear the awkwardness.

"Met her mom before, she's on the council her dad, never." (Y/n) answered with a sigh and sat next to Vi, laying his head on her shoulder.

"Explains the bitchy attitude." Vi chuckled along with (Y/n).

"Hey..." (Y/n) said as he now laid on her lap, looking her in her eyes as the mood around the room got serious. "What was it like? Prison I mean." He asked.
