About Y/N: Y/N Diggory is Cedric's little sister and got her admittance to Hogwarts during the summer. She was informed that she would be starting her Hogwarts education from 3rd year (meaning Cedric would be in 5th). Cedric also has a twin sister called Colette Diggory, but is younger than Cedric, making him the eldest child. Don't worry, I won't make him die. Also, the beginning isn't THAT interesting, but later it will.
Y/N was staring out the window as her family ate breakfast. Simple old peanut and jelly sandwich. Her father wanted to try muggle things once in a while. Then, she noticed a bird-like figure coming over. Owl mail always came in the mornings daily.
"Ah, owl mail!" her father welcomed, opening the window to let the owl in. Mr. Diggory took the mail and gave the owl treats from a nearby box, sending it flying away. "Let's see... oh? Y/N, you've got mail," he tweeted.
Cedric leaned over as Y/N opened the envelope.
"What's that, minion, getting mail?" Cedric said, peeking into the letter. Y/N and Cedric read the paper over.
'Dear Miss Y/N Diggory,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July. You will be starting in 3rd year, we will sort you on July 30th.

The girl squealed in joy.
"Yes!" Cedric exclaimed, sending Y/N cocking her head sideways from the volume of his voice while grinning, "Dad! Y/N's into Hogwarts! Starting in 3rd year!" Mr. Diggory chuckled, coming over to their side of the table to give a nice, warm hug to his daughter.
"I guess I've really got to let you go! Here, since school doesn't start in two days, how about Ced takes you to London to shop for supplies later today?" Dad suggested. Y/N grinned from ear to ear.
"Yes!" the siblings said, finishing off their food.

Y/N took a good look at her wand. She got it a few months ago from her Auntie Scarlette, during her brother's 4th year graduate. Her auntie always spoiled her.
She smiled at it, stuffing it into her desk shelf, and checking off 1 item from the list of supplies. She walked over to her closet, heaving her trunk out. She only used it for vacation travel, nothing else. But seeing her brother always having it full for school made her keep it, in case she ever went to his school.
Y/N was homeschooled. Her father thought she was too pretty to be in public schools, since he worried about what the boys would do. Cedric always assured him that it would be fine, but his father refused no matter how hard Cedric tried. Their only hope was to wait for a letter to come by.
She realized. It was July 30th. The letter said the sorting would (probably) be individual... Then, there was a knock on the door. "Minion? We're going to London!" Cedric's voice said behind the door.
"Alright! Coming!" Y/N replied, quickly pulling on her sweater and heading towards the door with her list.
She opened the door, seeing Cedric smiling and waiting for her.
