I was just swinging my legs over the bed and into my purple uggs when I heard knocking on my door. "Come in!" I yelled as my sister Yasmine came into the room. "It's your first day, so I have to style your outfit I don't care what you say!" Yasmine quickly pulled out my whole wardrobe and lay down an oversized white shirt and a black knit vest to go over top, with black jeans and my docs. I was actually surprised she put together an outfit that is actually stylish so I gave her a quick high five and then rushed her out of the room with a quick thank you!

I got changed, curled my hair and put on my little amount of makeup, I packed my bag, ran downstairs and had a quick piece of toast. Then ran outside to my bus stop. I was on my phone when I bumped into someone, I looked up to see a dark-skinned boy, with brown eyes, headphones in and a apologetic look on his face.

"I am so so sorry! I didn't see you, I was dancing, oh my goodness!" Then he started rambling. "I didn't mean t-" but I cut him off because he looked like he might start crying. "Hey it's ok!" I quickly exclaimed. "Sorry I am new, my name is Kenny!" he said with a wide teeth smile. "I'm new too, my name is Violet." Then the bus pulled up and we hopped on.

Suddenly everyone started laughing at us. I was wondering why. But then I started looking around the bus when a group of boys started saying mean things to Kenny. One of the boys said something about Kenny doing a shitting his pants dance but then just stared at me. He was hot, very hot. But I heard my name being called by Laura and Luna to come sit at the back. So, I whispered to Kenny "Do you want to come sit with my friends and I?" he quickly replied "Nah, I will just listen to music and block them out." I started walking down the aisle and said, "Ok, see you at school Ken Ken." I turned around to look at him laughing at my new nickname. 

Laura, Luna and I have been friends since kindy but halfway through primary school I moved schools. We all still caught up most days and whenever my sister had moon over, I had Luna because they are sisters! I gave both girls hugs and we started talking about the gossip and what I should know. Halfway through there sentence I looked towards the front to check on Kenny but while in the process saw that boy looking back at me again. I quickly looked away and asked the girls who that boy was. "That's Anthony LaRusso, probably the hottest boy in our year, all the girls want him except for me and Luna." Laura whispered. "Oh right." I whispered back.

We landed at school and all filed out of the bus. The girls were my tour guides for the day. Showed me my locker next to theirs and then took me to my first class. Science.

We walked into science, where I was greeted by Kenny with a big smile and I quickly sat down next to him, he is on my left and the girls on my right. Class started and Kenny and I were asked to stand up, say our name, favourite thing and how we like the school so far. I stood up first and said, "My name is Violet Marshall, I like skating and painting and this school seems great." I ended it with a smile at the teacher and sat back down. "My name is Kenny, I like drawing and gaming and the school seems cool." He sat back down and smiled at me. I was listening to the instructions to the worksheet were Kenny quickly flips his head back, so I do too. I see that boy Anthony and his stupid friends making balls of paper and throwing them at Kenny. So once my teacher walks out to go to the toilet or something I wasn't listening. I go to their table, pick up the piece of paper they were throwing bits of at him and rip it up. The boys just stare up at me, so I chuck them a smile and Anthony a wink because he is hot, walk back to my table and drop the paper in the bin. The girls do a little clap and Kenny gives me a hug, his hugs are big and tight but he thanked me so many times that I put my hand over his mouth and said, "No problem ken ken."

It took us the rest of the lesson to finish the worksheet and when the bell rang it was time for PE. I luckily was texted our timetable so I brought my athletic clothes. Kenny didn't bring his but we made our way to PE. I realised when walking down the corridor everyone eyes were on me. "Why is everyone looking at me?" Laura quickly replied "Because your hot! Look even Anthony and his stupid friends are staring at you!" I ran to PE and then to the bathroom. This lesson was gonna be interesting. I could feel it.
