I'm so sorry, I softly mumbled. He awkwardly laughed and said. "As if it's your fault!" You're always welcome here.

I happily smiled. Well, weeks went past, and I learned some of the kids to read and write. And I slowly fell in love with Ekko. He had a really important and dangerous job. He had to prevent Silco's men from handling illegal shimmer shipments.

I tried to shove Silco out of my mind as much as possible. I never left the "tree" because I know that even if I take one step outside I would be regogninzed and brought to Silco.

I took a deep breath, and continued teaching the kids how to read and write. I loved those kids. I really did.

That's when night approached. I walked back to my "tent" and grabbed my key's for the door. When I opened my purse I felt a shiver run trough my back.

When I turned around I saw Silco standing there. I dropped everything I was holding we and we face to face.

I started breathing heavily, and praying that his was just another fucked up hallucination. I double checked. and it was defiantly not a hallucination. he walked closer. I was to terrified to even think. and I just froze on the spot.

That's when he stabbed me, a knife thrusting trough my stomach. I coughed up blood and he softly shushed. me.

If I can't have you, no-one can.

and with that my vision got blurry, then I saw Ekko approach with a bag of flowers. He saw me, Silco turned his head. Ekko, stared at the scene.

he dropped all the flowers and straight up charged Silco.

But he failed, The last thing I saw was Ekko being slammed to the ground. I lost my vision and fell to the ground.

Dead.

Or is she?
