JENNIE'S POV

I just found out the news! I got a heart donor! I can't wait to tell this to Lisa. I don't know who the donor is, they put them as an anonymous donor. Later this afternoon, will be the surgery. I can't wait for it.

It was unusual of Lisa not coming to my room very early. So I planned to tell her going to her room.

Although I'm not allowed to move too much, I stand up and going out and walking to Lisa's room. I knocked first and opened the door.

When I opened the door, I saw her lying down with Tae at her side. She looks so weak, and very thin. Tae was feeding her.

I shouldn't feel jealous, he's her assistant slash friend. This is normal. He's just feeding her as a part of his job.

But I can't help but to get jealous...

"Hi there Nini! Sorry I didn't come to your room, I was feeling very tired and I can't seem to stand up." Lisa said and took the food on the spoon which Tae was putting on her mouth. She happily munch it while Tae was giggling. Who wouldn't? She looks so cute while she munch.

"Can we talk?" I said, Lisa eyed me and to Tae, "like private?" Lisa got what I mean so she looked at Tae.

"Sure, I'll just come back later again alright?" Tae said and stand up but my blood boiled when he kissed her cheeks. Lisa didn't seem to mind it but behind my back is my hands balling into tight fist while I plaster a fake smile.

After Tae left, I went to sit beside Lisa on her bed. Not forgetting how she is becoming thinner and thinner and skin becoming more pale.

"You look so thin, are you sure you're eating?" I asked her with worried face as I cupped her face. She just smiled at me and nodded.

"I am! But I don't seem to gain weight." She said pouting. I kissed her pouting lips. "So what do you want to talk about?"

I almost forgot about that. I took a deep breath and looked at her smiling.

"I finally got a donor!" I yelled on top of my lungs happily. I saw her reaction and it was the same reaction I got when I first found out about the news.

"OH MY GOD! FINALLY!" She hugged me so tight wrapping her arms around mt neck as I wrap mine on her waist too. "I'm so happy for you my Nini."

My Nini. Everytime she calls me this, it doesn't fail to make me feel those butterflies.

I felt my neck getting wet with warm liquid. I pulled away cupping Lisa's face. She's crying again. She looks more happier than me. Once I get through this, I'll help her with hers so we can leave together and make a better life.

"Hey, don't cry." I wiped her tears.

"Can't help, you're finally going to be treated. You'll finally get out here and be free again." She said, I felt a pang on my chest when she said that. She didn't include herself.

"We will get out here, both of us. We will start from the bottom, I will court you, wait for your answer, we will date and sooner I will marry you." I said, and she chuckled and smiled.

That smile isn't genuine, it's fake. Show me your real smile please.

"The surgery will be later afternoon. So I can wake up the next day and we can celebrate your birthday, I have a gift for you. And didn't you say you also have a gift for me even if you're the birthday girl?" I said, she nodded whie biting her lip.
