I sat there and waited with Court, sim and Fii.
This was our big chance. To get in to the CollectiveUth Dance Agency. If we had any chance to dance for mindless behavior this was it!
Anxiety ran through my veins, It was time to announce who got in.
The judge slowly stood up...
"We want to thank everybody who auditioned tonight, but as you know, we can only accept 10 dancers, Let's start"
I grabbed Fii's hand, this was it... I dont know what I would do if I didnt get in.
" Congratulations Freya Rodriguez, you made it"
Fii jumped up and dropped my hand, She was shaking so bad! I whispered my congrats then tilted my head... What if the clique got in and I didnt?
It carried on like that, girls jumping up with happiness. But there was only one space left, and I was by myself. I put my head in my shaking hands. And prayed. Prayed SO hard. Because this was my dream.. and I wanted it so bad
" Congratulations Anika Rodriguez, you made the squad!, commiserations to everyone who didnt get a place, we appreciate your effort"
What.. Did he just say my name?! My jaw dropped. "NEEKS!!" Sim shouted "THE CREW IS BACK!" "Next stop?... MB YALLL!!"
I grinned, I couldnt stop smiling .. I saw our new manager head over to us. His face was taught and serious.... that stopped my smiles soon enough.
"I've just gotten a call. We have a new assignment, in which we need four of our best dancers. Will Anika, Freya, Simone and Courtney follow me please."
Court flashed a questioning look at me, I shrugged. I had no idea what he was on
We followed him into a wide room with drapes. It seemed we were on a stage, a shaft of light peeked through and shone onto the seats below us. I followed its trail with my eyes and gasped.
Sat there, were 4 boys we knew all too well.
