I still stand at where I was and looking at where is Kou gone to. "What are you looking at?" a voice said behind my bed and I already know who is it. I mentally groan. Why tonight are there so many people who keep on showing up?

I turn to my behind and as I was expected the most, Subaru stood in front of me, his eyes bearing to me. "Nothing" I shrug my shoulder, "Why are you here?" I ask I know it is useless to ask him but it was worth a shot to try, "I smell a scum up here," he said. Well, he answers. I was surprised to see him respond to my question. "What? Scum" I let out a small laugh. I know very well who's he mentions, well that's funny, didn't expect Kou to get called a scum as a nickname.

"What are you laughing about?" Subaru said, waking me up from my inner thought "Huh, nothing at all" I said covering my mouth to stop bursting laughter. "By the way, who is the scum? Is it one of the Mukami siblings by any chance?" I ask, I know, I add fuel to the fire but it's interesting to watch how Subaru act as I mention Kou name. Subaru was gripping his hands really hard and you could see his knuckle turn white and how his face frown even more. By how he acts, he really hates the Mukami siblings to the guts.

"You saw him?" Subaru said, all his attention is on me. Well, I better not tell him or who knows if he would jump down this rooftop to only chase after Kou. "Who? Kou? No, I didn't see any strand of his blond hair" I lied. Subaru looks at me, knowing I am lying to him. "Are you both close now a day?" Subaru asked.

I hum and turn around, rest my elbow on the rooftop rail and propping my chin "Who knows? For me, he was just a boy that I could get along with. Also, he looks like a fun guy to be close with" I said. My thought starts to wander back to Kou pointing teeth. Is he a vampire too? "You just know him for not that long," he said. I sigh. "So, what's wrong with that? Friendships start when you didn't know each other at first" I don't know if I could call my relationship is friendship or what after he kissed me on the cheek.

The cold night air blows gently on me against me, I close my eyes letting my mind absorb the calmness of the wind. "You both just meet each other, don't you think it too soon to be so close to each other and calling him by his first name when you both just know each other". Suddenly feeling irritated of he kept on complaining about who close am I to Kou, "Oh yea, then you want me to call him by his family name when he has brothers? What is wrong with you!? Didn't I say-", my words were interrupted, my breath hitch. I turn back to him to spit my sarcasm to his face but he was suddenly in front of me, really close!

When does he get this close to me? I think we both were about one meter away or two meters. I was panicking on the inside, I know right now my brain cell is trying to compose what happened right now. All my words of sarcasm are gone, I cannot think at all what to do, I just stood there in pure shock. Staring at him.

"What? Do you want to say something like this morning?"

I gulp my saliva that was stuck in between my throat. I stay quiet and play with my fingers to wear off the overwhelming feeling I had. I take a quick glance at Subaru and again the same expression he shows me this morning appears again, but he quickly covers it up. I feel a pang in my heart as I saw his expression.

Subaru comes closer to me. "What is it you want to say?".

I mentally sigh. I can't do this, I can't just say what I was about to say when that expression he shows only even it only for a moment and also about our closeness right now, I can't think straight. I averted my eyes away from him.

After a couple of moments, Subaru finally gets what I was mean. He back away. I turn back to the rooftop rail behind me "W-What I'm saying earlier just ignore it" tucking my hair behind my ear. I finally get the courage to speak again, I keep my back facing Subaru while enjoying the moon. I keep on standing not even taking a glance behind me if Subaru is still there or not.
