Alex Piper x Amara Stuart [Schooled Fanfiction]

Part 1 (Amara's Introduction)

NOTE!!: Schooled takes place in the 90s! Not a particular year, the timeline is all over the place, so just go with it! I understand if it's confusing, trust me

Amara's POV:

I grew up watching a ton of highschool based movies and TV shows, and as you can probably imagine, the stuff that happened rotted my brain. If you're confused, I'm saying that all the crazy crap that went down in the media I hopelessly consumed, it was fake. Such a lead on, right? I was definitely disappointed at first, when not even a month into freshman year, I had this huge fight with my 2 best friends. I hoped it'd go like how I expected; we'd figure it out, and become friends again, closer than ever. But honestly, I haven't spoken to them since.

So here I am now, halfway through my junior year. It's safe to say that after the whole losing my best friends thing, I became more introverted than I used to be, which says a LOT. I always grew up shy, but my childhood is a story for another day. I know it may seem depressing, and ironically cliché, but I don't mind being alone. I'm perfectly comfortable not having friends, and I don't actively seek them. The last time I even wanted friends was the when I watched Clueless. I'm telling you, if I were to make any friend, it'd be someone like Cher or Dionne. I would say Tai, but I kinda already am her. And I suppose I'm friends with myself! Although,,,I do kind of have a Travis.

Alex Piper. He definitely isn't a carbon copy of Travis, but there are absolutely some traits. Like, for example, fashion sense is spot on! And the whole being late to class everyday and just- being a skateboarder type of thing. But something that differentiates the two crazy guys is their love life. Travis got the girl, he got Tai! But unfortunately for me, Alex barely knows who I am. I mean- it's not like I'll ever tell him how I feel anyways...
