Alice had been single for maybe a year, she had been dating but it started to become more of a hobby than fun. Her friends were all engaged or in relationships, but she couldn't seem to find 'The one'.

However Alice did have one trusty best friend, named Edward. Edward was the best friend you could ask for, He was loyal to Alice as she was to him and they got on like a house on fire. Most would say he had a soft spot for Alice but She kept Edward in his place and always reminded everyone that they were 'Just friends' and that's how it will stay, but you could see the pain in Edwards eyes every time Alice said that.

Edward and Alice would share their dating stories and just talk about life in general. Alice was still kind of hooked on a guy She dated a couple of year ago, He really broke her heart, nevertheless He had moved on and she just wanted to also which is why she downloaded Tinder.

One day Alice starts to swipe through Tinder, with no particular interest but just out of boredom. Then she sees 'Him', He was handsome, with big intriguing eyes which interested Alice for the first time in a while. She noticed he had minimal pictures up, which interested her more so she swiped right. An hour or so passes and Alice receives a message from this young man.

"Hey" He messaged, although this wasn't the most interesting start to a conversation, Alice was inclined to answer. The young man's name was not listed officially, His name was 'J' which is another thing that caught Alice's attention.

Now I know what you're thinking, this guy seems creepy, quite possibly not real, quite possibly a serial killer. Alice was the type of girl who loved excitement, this was the most excitement she had in a while so she loved the idea of the unknown, as if it turned out good this can only bring more excitement.

Alice clearly enjoyed mystery and wanted to know more, she continued the conversation. This lead to flirting but not normal flirting, this flirting was the type you'd see on a school yard where a boy would bully you all because He couldn't announce His true affection.

Alice then asks for 'J's social media(s) where He quickly responded that He doesn't have it, but she could add him on an app named Discord. Discord was an app gamers primarily used, although many people use it for different things now.
