Zero stood in front of his door looking at the boys from his school standing in front of a car, Thomas smiling as he held the door open, gesturing for Zero to climb in. With a sigh, Zero started forward, walking around the car, and out the gate.

"Oh come on!" Thomas whined, running after him.

"I'm walking." Zero said simply, yawning softly.

"You can sleep more in the car."

Zero looked up, his eyes finding Vincent. He looked up towards the brightening sky and groaned before stomping back towards the car, climbing in after the others. He was between Vincent and Thomas again and crossed his arms.

"Loosen up, it's not good being tense all the time." Emilio nudged Zero before watching him yawn again. "How did you sleep?"

Zero rubbed his eyes and shrugged. He usually didn't sleep well and guessed it showed on his face as he leaned his head back, letting his eyes close.

When they opened again, he was being tapped by Vincent. He looked up, noticing that he was laying against his arm. Vincent had a small smile when Zero blushed, quickly sitting up before they climbed out of the car.

"We can walk you to class too!" Thomas held onto Zero's shoulders, not noticing how he tensed and clenched his jaw. He yelped when Vincent pulled him back, giving him a look.

"Let him be." He said sternly.

Zero bit his lip and continued on walking. He wasn't sure how much of Thomas' antics he could keep up with. He didn't understand personal space and it irked Zero quite a bit. He brushed it off anyway, and walked into his first class, sitting and laying his head down.

"Sit up, Ataro."

Zero huffed, slowly sitting up and looking to the boy that sat beside him.

"You know you'll get in trouble if you fall asleep again mister scholarship."

Zero frowned. "That sounds like a me problem Ri." He said, rubbing his eyes.

The boy, Riku, shook his head as their teacher walked into the room. "You weren't at practice yesterday." he rose an eyebrow.

Zero looked away, picking at the loose thread on his blazer. Riku was the first person to talk to him when he started at Lockwood. He'd gotten lost looking for a few of his classes and started to panic. Riku found him sitting against the wall and offered to show him around. After realizing that they had more than half of their classes together, Riku decided to stick around.

"Are you gonna come today?"

"I'll try.." Zero whispered as the teacher greeted the class. He knew that if he bumped into his new club members after school, there'd be no way he was going to practice.

"Good. If you miss too many days you'll be behind on hours."

After sitting through four classes, Zero was in his free period. The time where he usually found somewhere quiet to sleep until the bell rang again. He walked down the quiet hallways, thinking about sneaking into one of the practice rooms before remembering the club room. No one used it besides Thomas and the others.

He looked up at the hallway signs before heading towards the room, hoping that it was empty and the others were in class. He took a deep breath and pushed open the door, peaking in. The lights were dimmed and tables were covers with white sheets, giving it a less active vibe than when he was there yesterday. He took a couple steps in, hesitating to let the door close behind him.

He looked at each section the others used, letting out a breath when they were all empty and untouched. He took another step in and let the door close behind him.

"Hi Zero!"

Zero yelped and jumped back, hitting his head on the door. His eyes widened as he looked at Lukas, watching his beaming smile quickly change to a concerned one.

"Oh my god- I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you, are you okay?" he took a small step back, biting his nails.

Zero held his hands to the back of his head and nodded before wincing. "Ow.." he mumbled, looking up when a hand touched his own.

"Let me see." Vincent said.

Zero found himself blushing as he slowly moved his hands. Vincent's voice was so soft when he spoke to him compared to how he spoke to Thomas or Kinsley. He showed little emotion on his face, but Zero could see the concern in his eyes.

"Does that hurt?" Vincent pressed two fingers to the back of Zero's head. The sound it made when he hit the door was loud.

Zero mumbled another small 'ow' and pushed bud hands away. "I'm okay...it'll stop eventually."

"Are you sure?" Lukas took a step forward before Vincent stopped him. "We could go to the nurses office really quick-"

"No thank you...um, why..are you guys in here?" Zero looked between the two of them.

"Oh we come here when we don't have class. We're seniors so we only have five." Lukas said, bouncing towards where Zero guessed they were sitting, Vincent behind him. He slowly followed, sitting with them. "What grade are you in?"

"I'm a junior.." Zero yawned, stretching his hands over his head.

"Oh do you have any classes with Kins or Thomas? They're juniors too. They might be in advanced classes though..are you in any advanced classes?"

Zero tilted his head to the side. "Just music."

Lukas nodded in understanding before putting a small cake in his mouth, kicking his feet. He couldn't be much taller than Zero.

"You can sleep if you want."

Zero looked towards Vincent and almost immediately looked away. The concern that was in his eyes before had left and was replaced with what seemed like nothing. It was intimidating. It hit him just how intimidating Vincent really was.

"You okay?" Vincent leaned towards him. Zero quickly nodded and looked back up, his eyes glancing around the room.

Vincent rose an eyebrow before standing, walking over to one of the couches and pulling off the white sheet, gesturing towards it. He watched Zero bite his lip before a yawn forced its way past his lips. Pouting, Zero stood up and flopped down on the couch, hugging one of the pillows to his chest as Vincent laid the sheet on top of him.

"Sleep well."
