Everyone in the hall rushed to the door as Harry returned. He couldn't stop grinning, which obviously meant his trial went well.

We all sat in the kitchen, eating our final dinner at Grimmauld Place this summer, enjoying Mrs. Weasley's astonishing cooking, while Harry told us all about how Dumbledore showed up, and how he still gets to attend Hogwarts.

As dusk approached, excitement circled everyone's minds knowing that we were going to board the train and be on our way to Hogwarts tomorrow.

Everyone was occupied packing their trunks, cleaning their pets cages, and reading their lists for the books they need this year at Hogwarts.

People were running up and down the creaky halls and stairs chattering about their classes, schedules, and letters, full of excitement and relief that soon we would be out of this gloomy place, and soon on the Hogwarts Express with our fellow classmates on our way to the castle.

Me and Hermione stepped into Harry and Ron's bedroom, making sure they had everything with them.

Their room was full of nearly packed trunks, owls sitting cheerfully in their cages knowing where they were off to tomorrow, textbooks, papers, and letters, lying around the wooden floor unorganized.

"Y/N, is there one time where you're not interrupting us about school?", Ron said with piles of papers and books in his arms, with an annoyed expression upon his freckled face.

"I guess not Ron, but you'll be pleased to know that you won't run out of ink this year", I said looking at him, adding two bottles of fresh, black ink onto his stack of textbooks and lists.

A weak grin produced on his slightly red face, while some of his messy hair fell into his glistening blue-green eyes that looked back into mine. I could tell he needed the spare ink bottles, but he didn't seem to want to mention it, but a grin was enough.

I also noticed that his face turned a slight shade of red, which only ever happens when he's blushing or embarrassed of something. I didn't have so much time to think about this, since tomorrow morning was our departure for Hogwarts.

I treaded silently back to my bedroom, hearing Fred and George distinctly chatter about their plans for the joke shop products they want to sell at Hogwarts.

Night came by as fast as ever, and everyone was changed into their pajamas. Mrs. Weasley knocked on the bedroom doors, telling us all to get some sleep before we leave for Kings Cross Station in the morning.

I placed my trunks softly by my bed, and sat down to go through my textbooks, and lists.

As I went through my books I thought mainly of the O.W.L's examinations that were going to take place this year.

This year I knew I would be spending more hours reviewing my books and notes in the library more often, these exams are quite important at Hogwarts.

The thought of attempting to test Ron and Harry about our nightly homework, when they tried to peacefully play wizard's chess in the common room made me smile as I organized my quills and ink.

My pet cat Cinnamon, with fuzzy light brown fur and bright brown eyes, was sitting on my lap half asleep, her paws tracing over the many papers.

My owl Mocha, with brown and white feathers, and large brown eyes, was looking cheerful in the neat and clean silver cage, beside my packed trunks.

As Ginny and Hermione started to look tired, we all agreed to shut off the lamps and candles, and call it a night, since tomorrow morning we had to wake up quite early.

The morning approached briskly, and everyone was pacing around the dim hallways, preparing for the departure to King's Cross Station in an hour.

The dark interior suddenly glowed as the sun rose, and the sky got more light by the minute.
