7 years later:
Kabu: Oi, Saruto there you are I was looking everywhere for you.
Saruto: Oh hey turnip (turns around to admire the shinobi doing their work)
Kabu: Don't think about it. Ms. Yoha would never let you become a shinobi. All she wants us problem children to be are slaves.
Saruto: I don't care. But turnip is right, that baka would never let us be shinobi.
Kabu: I wish we had parents. All we have is stupid old Ms. Yoha and her bratty favorite child Sasha.
Saruto: (looking down at his locket wondering if his parents were alive and if so why did they leave him here in this dump.)
Kabu: Hey Saruto.
Saruto: Yeah
Kabu: Your locket, you told me it was the only thing that your parents gave you right.
Saruto: (nods his head)
Kabu: At least your parents gave you something. All my parents did was hastily gave me the name Kabu which means turnip.
Saruto: (Runs away to one of the rooms in the orphanage after listening to Kabu)
Sartuto: I hate you mom whoever you are. You left me here and now-now you left me alone. Everyone calls me a problem child because they think I don't fit in. (looks in a mirror to see his blue eyes black hair and rough dirty clothes.) You know what, even if nobody wants me to, I will- I will become a ninja!
3 years later:
Saruto: (throwing shurikens perfectly)
Sasha: (whispers) Oh Ms. Yoha will want to know this. (Runs back to Ms. Yoha) Oh Ms. Yoha, Saruto is throwing shurikens outside the orphanage.
Ms. Yoha: That problem child. I'll show him a punishment later.
Later that day:
Nazomi: Go home Saruto.
Saruto: For the last time big sis Nazomi, I don't have a home.
Nazomi: Well then just go to wherever you live.
Saruto: Fine, Nazomi sensei. (goes back to the orphanage) Good evening Ms. Yoha.
Ms. Yoha: Tell me Saruto, where were you and what were doing today?
Saruto: Uh, I can't tell you!
Ms. Yoha: Well I know where you're going now. Out of the orphanage! You will leave here by tomorrow morning.
Saruto: Wait what! You can't do that.
Ms. Yoha: I'm sure that you will know someone out in the village. I mean don't you go there every day.
Saruto: How do you know that!
Ms. Yoha: I just do. Oh I made a mistake of when you're leaving. You're leaving today right this very instant. Kabu, throw him outside.
Kabu: Yes Ms. Yoha. (takes Saruto outside) I'm sorry Saruto.
Saruto: Wait turnip-(Kabu closes the gates) I'm all alone now. I have no one, just no one. (keeps running until he reaches an alleyway.) I guess I'll be safe here now. How on earth did that stupid old lady find out anyway. (Hears footsteps, stays alert)
Inoshin: (sees Saruto) Hey, I've never seen you around before are you new here?
Saruto: (steps out into the light) No, I've lived here all my life.
Inoshin: Then why are you sleeping in an alley on a cold winter night?
Saruto: None of your business plus isn't it to early to ask such a thing. Also its not to cold.
Inoshin: Oh yes it is. You are shivering.
Saruto: So, if you shiver doesn't mean you're cold. (Both of them laugh)
Inoshin: My names Inoshin Yamanaka yours?
Saruto: Saruto
Inoshin: I asked for last name too?
Saruto: Don't have one.
Inoshin: (Understands why) Tell you what. Come to my house with me.
Saruto: Why?
Inoshin: I think you'll like it there. (Pulls Saruto along jumping across buildings)
Saruto: I think I can do that by myself.
Inoshin: (Doesn't get what he meant at first but gets it after he far surpassed him) How are you going so fast for someone with no training?
Saruto: Inoshin, I've been practicing for the last 3 years so I can do multiple jutsu and can throw shurikens and kunai perfectly but its a secret I've been keeping for the last 3 years also. (hangs his head down)
Inoshin: Really, wait if you're from the orphanage how would you train? They don't let you train right Saruto?
Saruto: Yeah, but I broke the rules so they left me outside and told me I can't go back.
Inoshin: Oh so you're like Grandpa Naruto. We're at my house now. (Pulls Saruto inside) Kaa-san I'm home.
Himawari: Hi Inoshin, whose your friend?
Inoshin: His name is Saruto.
