"Nene-nee-chan! Happy April fools day!" Tsukasa yells as he gives her a giant bear hug. "Happy April fools Tsukasa-kun! What should we do this year?" Yashiro whispers, a huge devious grin clear on her face. "Hmm Oh I know we should prank Amane this year!!!" He whisper shouts and starts jumping up and down. "YES!" Yashiro squeals as the students passing by in the hallway look at her and Tsukasa oddly. "But which prank should we do?" She taps her cheek thoughtfully. "Oh I got it!" Tsukasa whispers his plan in her ear excitedly.

"Tsukasa I don't know about this..." Nene says worriedly as he puts a fake engagement ring on her finger. "It'll be funny! Now go and show Amane!" Tsukasa pushes her towards his older twin.

Earlier that day...

Yashiro and Tsukasa approach their friends Mitsuba and Kou in the practice garden. Luckily for them their victim (Amane) is in an astronomy tutor session with Tsuchigomori-sensei in the library. "Hey Kou-kun! Mitsuba-kun!" Yashiro exclaims. "Hey senpai! What's up?" Kou asked and Mitsuba waved. "Hey guys! We need your help to prank Amane!" Tsukasa explains. "What do you need us for?" Kou questions. "We need you to pretend that you proposed to Nene-nee-chan!" Tsukasa once again explains. "Why would you do that?" Mitsuba asks. "Because I wanna see how he reacts to Nene-nee-chan having a boyfriend!" He excitedly says. "Okay I guess I could do that." Kou hesitantly agrees.

Back to the present

"Hey Amane-kun!" Yashiro waves at him from the the other side of the hallway. "Oh hey Yashiro! Wait what is that?" He frowns and points at the fake engagement ring on her finger. "Oh this! Kou-kun proposed to me earlier today! Isn't he the sweetest!" She gushes. "O-oh okay well I-I have t-to go now" He says and quickly runs off to the old building leaving a very confused radish behind.

Tsukasa, Mitsuba and Kou pop out from around the corner and stand with Yashiro. "Well I don't know what that was Radish-senpai but you should probably go after Crazy Knife-senpai now." "Oh yeah your right."  She says and runs off towards the direction he went.

Amane's POV

I can't believe it. She's engaged to the kid now. I feel the tears leaking out of my eyes so I rush into the old building to my hiding spot, the third floor girls bathroom. No one comes in here so it's safe for me to be here. I start to cry and I know I missed my chance. I'm in love with her and I messed up, I missed my chance and now she's with him. I screwed up so bad.

Third person POV

Yashiro makes it into the old building and hears soft sniffles coming from the girls bathroom. "Amane-kun? Where are you?" She heads into the girls bathroom on the third floor and sees Amane on the floor in tears. "Amane-kun?!" She exclaims and rushes towards him still confused as to why he's crying. "Y-Yashiro?" Amane's eyes widen as the tears trickle down his face falling on the floor with a 'drop'. "What's wrong Amane-kun? Why are you crying" I'm sorry Yashiro. I'm so sorry I couldn't be happy for you." Amane says tears still glimmering in his eyes. "Be happy for what?" She asks genuinely confused. "For you and the kid." He says simply. "Oh no Amane-kun this wasn't supposed to happen." Amane looks at her with a confused kitten look present on his face. "It wasn't real Amane-kun, it was just an April fools prank." Yashiro says looking guilty. "I-it was?" Amane says. "Yes it was and why are you crying anyways?" She questions still feeling guilty. 

Amane wipes his remaining tears and says, "I-it's because I like you Yashiro I have for a while now and the thought of you being with the kid hurt so much that I just couldn't take it anymore." He looks back to her ruby eyes to see tears welled up in them ready to glide down her percaline skin. She pounces on him and gives him a hug. "I'm so sorry! I never meant to hurt you Amane-kun! I-I like y-you t-too." She says and hides her face in the crook of his neck. Amane now has the biggest smile on his face. He lifts her head off of his shoulder and looks into her captivating ruby eyes and asks, "May I?" She nods not trusting her voice and they both share a long awaited kiss as they poor their every feeling into that one moment.

They both pulled back as humans need to breathe and hug each other as if their life depends on it. "Never, EVER do that to me again ok?" Amane says breathlessly to her. Yashiro giggles and says, "I promise I won't."

Suddenly Tsukasa, Mitsuba, and Kou pop out from the door with Mitsuba holding a camera. "Oooh Crazy Knife and Radish-senpai kissed!" Mitsuba mocks as he holds out his camera to show that he got their whole moment on camera. The two blush madly and Yashiro hides her face in Amane's shoulder. "AMANE!" Tsukasa then screams and tackles the newly formed couple to the ground. "Do smooches taste like lemon?" He asks them both as they stand up with him stuck to Amane's back. Neither of them answer, too flustered to speak properly. "YAYY! NENE-NEE-CHAN IS SISTER NOW!" Tsukasa screams and hugs the flustered radish legged girl.
