IN HIS EYES , SHE was the only one for him. ever since they were 19 and she brought his coffee for him when he realised he left his wallet at home. he remembered being so curious in her and who she was. he was head over heels in love with her.
they were sitting in a restaurant and Ginny went to the front of the desk to order more red wine. Cristiano's eyes were on her the whole time. he wondered to himself why he didn't make a move before.
"hey , babe? you okay?" Cristiano's girlfriend of 4 months asked him. he gave her a short smile and nodded his head. Georgina wrapped her arms around him and continue to talk to Rute. Diogo was watching his Portugal teammate carefully as his eyes were on Ginny the whole time.
"you okay?" Jota asked Cristiano as the girls were talking. Ronaldo turned his head and shrugged. "yeah , I'm alright" .
Jota leaned in and whispered in his ear. "then why are you staring at Ginny like that?" Diogo knew what he said , had hit a nerve because Cristiano's head immediately turned to him.
"i didnt" he cleared his throat. Ginny came back with her other friend , Marco - which Ronaldo was obviously jealous about.
"we got the wine" Ginny said and Georgina and Rute excitedly clapped their hands.
all of them ate and the night consisted of Cristiano watching Ginny with puppy eyes. Rute and Jota watched them closely and even Marco joined in. he already knew Ronaldo had something for his best friend.
the night came to an end and everyone was heading home. they all said their goodbyes to Diogo and Rute. Ginny and Marco was about to take an uber home , but Cristiano didn't want him to be alone with Ginny , so he decided to take them home.
in the car , Marco and Ginny would have conversations that made them giggle and made Ronaldo angry.
suddenly , Georgina gasped at something on her phone and the all grew curious and worried. "something wrong? " Ronaldo asked.
"my mom just told me that my sister just gave birth. can you drop me off at the hospital please?" she asked with worried eyes and Cristiano nodded his head.
after dropping his girlfriend safely at the hospital , he went towards Marco's destination. "this is me. thanks for the evening , guys " Marco said as he climbed out of the car. "no problem , Asensio" Ronaldo said and Marco closed the door and was about to walk away but turned around.
"hey , G. you still up for tomorrow?" Marco asked , causing Ronaldo to turn his head to them. Ginny smiled "you know it , M" she said. "cool" Marco smiled before heading inside , clearly noticing Ronaldo's pissed face.
on the way to Ginny's house , Cristiano decided to break the silence. "what's Marco talking about?" he asked as he glanced at her through the rearview mirror.
"we're gonna see that movie I talked about in cinema" she said and he frowned. "wait , didn't you ask me to watch it with you?" he asked.
"yeah , I did. but you said that you were going to go with Georgina to her photoshoot , remember?" she said and realisation dawned on him.
he did say that.
the whole ride was filled with silence and the finally arrived at Ginny's house. "good night , Cris" she said as she climbed out and kissed him on the cheek.
Cristiano's heart thumped at her touch. "good night , Ginny" he said. he watched as she safely walked into her house and closed the door.
Ronaldo contemplated if he should drive away or not. "for fucks sake" he mumbled under his breath and climbed out of his car.
he walked towards Ginny's house and knocked on the door. "yeah?" she opened the door and saw her best friend looking at her.
"Cris? what are yo-" she got cut off when his lips were on hers. without thinking about what they were doing , Ginny's hands went to his hair and his hands went to her waist to pull her in.
Cristiano walked inside and closed the door behind him with his foot
he was leading her towards the big couch as their kiss changed into something more.
passion and deep was all that could describe it.
this was what they had been waiting for. their kiss deepened and Cristiano thanked every god above for this moment.
this moment where he gets to kiss the love of his life and just held her close to him.
he took off her top and she took off his t shirt. her hands trailed on his abs and she tasted the sweetness of the wine on his tongue.
he layed her on the couch and his lips went to her neck and he almost immediately hit her soft spot.
it was until she cried his name out loud when she came to her right side of mind.
she grabbed him by the shoulders and gently lifted him off of her. he looked at her , both of them gasping for air as his black curls were falling over his face.
"Cris...this is wrong" she said. he sat next to her. "its not. Ginny , I have loved you ever since you ever brought me that coffee in Paris. I still love you and I don't want to hide it from you or anyone else anymore"
Ginny was still regaining her breath. "i love you too , Cristiano... I really do , but you have a girlfriend" he immediately groaned at the mention of Georgina.
"oh come on , she's cheating and doesn't know that I know" he said and he eyes widened. "what?" she asked and he nodded his head. "she has been cheating for a while but I didn't want to say anything." he said.
Ginny sat back onto the couch. "so ,I just wanted to tell you that I love you and I always will , Ginny" he said. she hugged his waist as she layed her head on his chest.
"i love you even more ,Cris"
