"It's gone?!"

I tried to find the article but I couldn't, so that means he took care of it? I should probably call Caesar, I hope he's not busy.

I found Caesars contact and called him immediately. No one picked up so I think he is busy. Just as I was ready to press the red button someone answered the phone.

I placed the phone next to my ear and heard Caesars voice.

"Hey Y/N."

He sounded like he's out of breath. Heavily panting, almost like he is running a marathon.

"Hey Caesar I hope I didn't bother you or anything?"

"No of course not."

Just then I heard a males voice, screaming. I flinched and pulled the phone away from my ear. I heard a voice calling my name so I slowly placed it back next to my ear.

"Y/N? Can you hear me?"

"Yea-Yeah I can hear you. I just think I heard a males voice screaming."

Caesar stayed silent and that scared the shit out of me. I heard more grunts and voices through the phone call. I didn't want to imagine the worst case so I called out for Caesar again.

" Caesar? Is everything okay?"

" Huh? Y/N? I thought you ended the call. Sorry I didn't hear you. Everything's good."

"Oh ok. I called you to ask about the article, by any chance did your boss took care of it? You know anything?"

There was again a great minutes of silence. I'm starting to think that I called in a wrong time, maybe he's busy.

"Oh no I haven't heard anything. Is the article gone?"

His sudden answer scared me. Suddenly I heard loud noises on the other line, so I fastly started to speak up.

"Yeah it's gone. Alright if you don't know anything about then it's all from me. Sorry I called while your busy."

I pressed the end button and placed my phone on the table. I let my fingers slide my hair back. I was surprised to hear the males voice literally screaming, I don't want to think it's something bad going on there, but my mind didn't let me forget about it.

I just probably called in a wrong time, he was probably heading somewhere or was in some kind of club. Let's just not think about it.

It was late so I should just head off to bed. I have another day to live right? I started to walk to my bedroom, just then I heard a knock at my door. I wasn't expecting anyone, it's kinda creeping me out right now. It was scary since the males voice from the previous call stayed at the back of my mind.

I slowly walked towards the main door and then I heard another knock. I jumped a bit, but walked more fastly towards the door. I unlocked the door and opened them. There was no one at the door, I looked all over the hallway but saw nothing.

"Probably someone joking around."

I closed the door again and locked them. I walked towards my bedroom and went to the bed. I was tired like someone drained my energy. I put my phone to charge and fell back at the pillows. I looked at the ceiling until my eyes slowly closed and I drifted to deep sleep.

*The next morning*

A loud noise woke me up, my eyes slowly and painfully opened as my alarm was going crazy. I slapped it off of the nightstand and turned to the other side slowly drifting back to sleep.

As I was getting more and more comfortable I heard a knock at my door. I was lazy to get up, also maybe it's the same as yesterday someone playing jokes. I didn't paid attention to the noise and closed my eyes again. Yet again there was a second knock and then the third one. I was beyond annoyed so I abruptly got up and rushed to the front door.

I was super angry and pissed if there won't be anyone I will blow up for sure. It's 8 in the morning who would knock at my door at this time. Either way they don't have anything to do or their out of the mind.

I brutally unlocked the door and with fast speed I opened them up. As angry as I was I started to speak before even checking.

"Who the hell has nothing to do at 8 in the morning!!"

"Good morning Y/N."

Only then I saw Caesar standing there looking at me almost laughing. I watched him closely before remembering I was freshly out of the bed. I slammed the door closed and rushed to my room.

I fixed my hair and changed the clothes as fast as possible. I rushed back to the living room and saw Caesar already sitting on the couch. For the punishment I went behind him and tried to scare the living shit out of him.

"You know it's not nice to slam door in guests face."

I gave up on my trick so I walked around the couch and plopped myself next to him. I looked at him with arrogant look and spoke up.

"You know guests don't invite themselves in."

"Fair enough. Anyways why did you looked like you just went through the storm?"

I rolled my eyes at him. How arrogant from his side, he shouldn't wake up sleeping persons and expect them to look awesome.

"I was sleeping until you decided to wake me up. And since I was super annoyed about it I didn't check how I looked like. Also I just thought someone was joking with me again, so I didn't expect you standing there."

I shrugged my shoulders and reached out for the TV remote. There was a silence from Caesar so I looked back at him, seeing the man looking at me already. His gaze felt weird or like uneasy?

"What happened yesterday?"

"Hmm? Oh nothing much.. I was going to the bedroom to go to sleep, but when I entered the living room I heard a knock at the door. I got a bit scared because I wasn't expecting anyone and it was already late. And then there was a another knock so I went to the door and opened them, but I didn't saw anyone. That's it."

"Do you lock your door?"

That's a weird question from his side. He looks really uneasy about something. I wasn't sure what it was but I felt something weird in my stomach. For the first time I felt happy? Because someone actually cared about me? Not just someone but Caesar? The guy I met just couple of days ago, I don't even know anything major about him. And yet some weird feelings entered my body.
