Y/N'S POV
The life style in the big city was certainly different from what I was used to in Mother's house. With her, we never lacked of anything. And now that I was alone... Of course I had no money.
-Seller: You can't take it without paying! Are you out of your mind?!
The guy in the store scolded me while I just remained silent. He was right, and I didn't want to start a fight that could get me exposed. I apologised to him and exited the store.
I walked towards a bus stop, a lot of people were standing while waiting for their transport. I sat and took my sketchbook out, it was such a good chance to draw.
People with all kind dressing styles, all kind of shapes, all kind of skin tones. It was too beautiful, I enjoyed to the point that night time fell and I was still sitting in the bus stop.
-Woman: You know that all buses passed already, right?
-Y/N: Eh? Oh yeah, thank you - smiles - But I wasn't waiting for the bus, anyway.
-Woman: Ah... Why are you sitting here, then?
-Y/N: I was just loving the surroundings, and practicing my art - chuckles - But I'm leaving already, thank you anyway for telling me about the buses. I didn't realised it got this late.
-Sana: No problem - smiles.
I walked away from the bus stop towards my supposed apartment. I had no money, so I drew one and used my powers to make it real. I was planning to do the same thing with my dinner cause I didn't want to get scolded again.
Sujin: Y/N-ah! Why weren't you getting my calls?!
Y/N: Sorry, I just arrived home. I spent the whole afternoon in a bus stop, it was a nice chance to practice my art - smiles.
Sujin: Jeez... That's dangerous, it would be so easy to steal you if you are out in your own world.
Y/N: You know that's impossible, we are professional in the stealing art itself - smirks - If someone ever tried, it would be so hard not to get caught by me.
Sujin: Sure, sure... Anyway, how was it so far?
Y/N: Good, I would say. It feels weird sometimes cause I'm alone and I have no money - chuckles - I had to draw my dinner cause I was starving.
Sujin: At least you can do that! In my case the only option was to get invisible and sneak into people's kitchen - laughs - I've seen such weird stuff doing that.
Y/N: Like a corpse?
Sujin: Hell no! But people can get really intimate when they are alone, you know?
Y/N: Eww, mother skipped that part while teaching us about humans reproduction. I don't I wanna know about it, so don't even tell me what you saw - laughs.
Sujin: We aren't kids anymore tho, little boy - giggles - We are adults, and for simple humans that's just another part of life.
Y/N: For everyone is another part of life, even animals do it - shrugs.
Sujin: Yeah, we discovered when we got traumatised by Sunwoo's turtles - laughs.
Y/N: My god! That was hilarious! - laughs - Remember how stressed was mother when we saw that?!
Sujin: Yeah, she panicked deadly - smiles - But thanks to that, we learnt something new that is actually very important for the circle of life. And no, I'm not talking about Lion King.
Y/N: - smiles - Its sad that we'll never go back to that, now each of us is God knows where...
Sujin: We'll gather for our next mission, don't worry.
Y/N: Yeah... - serious - You really think there'll be another mission?
Sujin: Of course, mother said it before we left. It has only been a month.
Y/N: Still, why did she allow us to exit her protection and explore the world by ourselves?
Sujin: What did we talk about this, Y/N?
Y/N: Yeah, sorry, sorry, we'll just enjoy this without over thinking - smiles.
Sujin: Good boy - smiles - Anyway, I should hang up cause I need to sneak into the kitchen.
Y/N: - nods - See you, Sujin-ah.
Sujin: Bye bye, bro~ - hangs up.
I threw myself to the sofa and turned the TV on, nothing seemed to be interesting so I started zapping. Nothing caught my attention until I spotted my own family as the main topic in a news channel.
-Y/N: Interesting - smirks and rises the volume.
"Picasso disappeared due to magic?" They would never guess how did everything happen cause before stealing something, mother plans the mission with all the details. There's not a single detail she's not aware of, so it's almost impossible to get caught.
I always wondered how would people react if they were told about my super family and our powers. Or how would they react if they knew that we are the most dangerous white glove thieves.
Some snacks join me while I keep on watching the new, it was just to fun to see everyone so shocked about it. Paying close attention to the screen, I spotted someone that I knew.
-Y/N: Oh... Isn't she?
I stood up from the sofa and got close to the TV, and just as I suspected, the girl who's behind the police officers is none other than the one who told me about the buses.
How fun to think that she had one of the Picasso case responsibles so close but didn't suspect, not a single bit. I almost fell bad for everyone trying to solve the case. How were they supposed to fight against magic? Impossible.
During our daily lives, mother trained us to live with our "masks" on so that anyone ever discovered the truth about us. But I always thought, what is actually considered as the truth? It depends on the point of view.
Cause who were the real us? When were we being ourselves? When we are using the powers or when we are not? The truth is something too much ambiguous to be told.
