For the first time I was speechless. I began pacing the plush white carpet as I got my thoughts together. My heart was pounding and my plams were beginning to sweat. From the corner of my eye, I got a peek of Sydney. She had a curious and scared expression on her face. 'Come on, get it together man!' I thought to myself.

I don't want her to be afraid or worry so I had to come up with something and fast. Knowing Sydney, her mind was probably already drawling to conclusions.

I sighed heavily, "Look Syd, we need to talk." I said sitting down on the bed where she was. I still couldn't find the courage to meet her eyes, so I focused on the ground.

"What did I do?" The sadness in her voice focused me to look up. I wish I didn't when my eyes locked with her tearful ones. "If you want space I understand." She said looking away from me in shame. Damn, I felt like a jerk.

"It's not like that." I said, hopefully changing her mind set. Once again, I was speechless. I just couldn't find the courage to share my feelings for her. It sounded too....girly.

"Then what!" Sydney shouted surprising me. "You come in here scaring me now you're drowning me in suspense! I come all the way across the country and now you're scaring me and not talking. This isn't you, if you want me to leave I will. I mean, I ditched my own Mother for you! Now you're just pushing me away. gosh, I ha-"

I cut her off with my lips before she said something regretful. I decide to take the road I usually use with the women in my life.

Seduction.

Hey, if you can't say it show it.

Wrapping my arms around her waist, I pulled her in closer. Her lips tasted like cherry and I'm growing to like it. Before we got to carried away, I pulled my lips away and rested my head on hers. "Shut up, I like you damn it." I said. The blush that creeped onto her face encourage me to go on. "I was scare to say it before but now I don't care. I, Jeremy, want to be with you, Sydney. I never felt this way about another and want to see where it goes. So with that being said, will you be my girlfriend." I said getting nervous towards the end.

The biggest smile I've ever saw spread across her face. She squealed and started bobbing her head up and down. I smiled, before I knew it we were happily kissing again.

Sydney P.O.V.

'I have a boyfriend. In your face Reena!' I thought to myself as I passionately kissed Jeremy. This was great, I was going steady with a hot guy from California. The loser from Maine finally had a boyfriend. I kissed him harder at the thought of him being mine.

Jeremy pulled away, I groaned in annoyance. All I wanted to do right now was kiss the daylights out of him right now. "We have to get ready for dinner, remember?" He said with a chuckle.

I sighed and got up. "Well I guess I should get ready. You may exit through the door right there." I said pointing to the door while getting up.

I soon felt arms wrap around my waist. "Bye girlfriend." Jeremy whispered into my neck causing me to shiver.

"Bye boyfriend." I half moaned as he kissed my neck. Just like that he was gone.

Oh gosh, that boy is going to be the death of me.

"This sushi is great." Reena moaned bitting into another bit of her sushi.

Currently we were all at a sushi and steak house digging into raw fish and steak. Reena and I had sushi while the guys had steak. We were all seated at a booth, Jeremy and I on one side, Reena and Asher on the other. Jeremy and I haven't told Reena and Asher we were a item, but they will find out soon.

I dipped a piece of sushi into my soy sauce. "Mm, this is good." I comment. I bit the fish slowly knowing I had a certain pair of eyes on me. By the kick I received I knew he was watching.

"So, do you gals like Cali?" Asher asked, starting a conversation.

"It's great." I said dreamily, remembering the things that had happen to me here. It may just be my new favorite state.

"Yea, it's pretty amazing." Reena answered, smiling at Asher. I was happy for the two, they made a cute duo.

"Glad you both like it." Jeremy added to our decussion smiling. His smile was just to lively. It could make anyone's day perfect.

Reena must have noticed my stares as she rasied a questioning eyebrow at me. I just looked away.

"I'm full." Reena whined after sticking her last piece of sushi in her mouth. She sat back and huffed, making us all laugh.

"I guess we should all get going." Jeremy said. We all agreed and soon the guys were paying the bill.

After we lefted the small restaurant, I sat next to Jeremy in his car and the lovebirds sat in the back. "I had fun." I said softly to him.

"That was kinda the idea." Jeremy said after kissing me. I remembered we weren't the only ones in the car when I heard gasps.

"That's it. what's up with you too?" Reena asked annoyed she didn't know what was going on.

I smiled at Jeremy and he returned his own smile. "I own this." Jeremy said not even looking away from me. I just giggled.

"I didn't know you had it in you, loser." Asher said casually, as if he knew something. Reena,on the other hand, wasn't acting so calm.

"Yea!!" She squealed. "You're not forever alone anymore!" She yelled fist pumping. The guys laughed and I shook my head at my weird friend.

This was a good day. Us four, all happy and in relationships or close to it.

That night I fell asleep in Jeremy's arm, thanking god for the internet.
