The Secret

The Park

Sarah's POV:
I put up my diary in a secret place so my dad won't find it. I take a deep breath then start coughing from the smell of moonshine. I pack my side bag and spray perfume on me to cover up the smell. I go out into the living room and ask my dad if i can go explore the neighborhood. He says "why don't you try to at least get laid this time" and starts laughing. I respond trying to stay calm "i just want to go out and look around, I'll be back later" and i slam the front door. As soon as i step outside I'm finally able to breathe again.

So i start walking in a random direction, trying to get my mind off things. I see a lot of old buildings and fall trees. I walked for a few more minutes until i come across a nice looking path. I basically said screw it and i took the path, down it was a very nice little pond and a bridge. There were beautiful fall leaves everywhere. I decided to sit by the pond and sketch it. It took me about 10 minutes and i got up. I walked down the path father and i saw this little park, there were only a few ppl there. I decided to sketch this place too so i sat down on a bench and took out my drawing book.
I started looking around at some people and their dogs. A elder couple were walking together across the park, a little girl and her mom were playing with their dog, a newly mom and dad walking their baby in a stroller,and this group of guys who were playing soccer together. I started sketching then i saw the guys coming closer then this one guy looked at me and we locked eyes for a split second. I looked away and started sketching again,worried. I didn't want to make a fool out of myself in front of guys! So i started looking around them and tried to not look at the one guy.
Ill admit i was checking out the guys. I mean, come on they were hot and fit. I didn't realise i was staring at the guy who was looking at me. I saw him say something to the other boys then walk towards me. I immediately got worried and looked down and continued sketching, thinking he would walk right past me. The tall guy came up to me and said "i have never seen you around here before, are you new?" And he smiled. I got so nervous but his eyes for some reason calmed me down. They were baby blue and he had dark black helmet hair. I responded shaky "um yeah i just moved here about 2 days ago, I'm Sarah. " "Well welcome to Richmond, Sarah, I'm Ryan."
