You laid awake next to Dayeon, listening to her breathe as she slept right beside you.

You can't seem to fall asleep tonight, no matter what you do.

You're staying over at Dayeon's place and at first, you were wrapped in her warm embrace as you tried to fall asleep.

But then, as she fell into a deep sleep, she let you go and rolled away from you, her back now facing you.

You're feeling a little chilly and you've tried to warm up with the blanket that you're sharing but she's hogging the majority of the comfortable blanket, unaware that she was leaving you only a little of it.

Despite feeling cold, you tried to stay still and warm up with what you had of the blanket, hoping you'd fall asleep soon enough, and sometime through the night, you and Dayeon would curl up to each other instinctively.

However, sleep didn't come easily when you felt so cold.

Not wanting to disturb your sleeping girlfriend in hopes that she'd catch up on some much-needed rest, you slowly got out of bed, watching her sleep soundly with every move you made.

You walked to her closet, deciding to warm up in the best way other than in her arms - by wearing one of her warm hoodies.

You started to go through them, running your fingers across the sleeves to try and feel for the coziest one.

Once you felt it, you quietly pulled it off of the hanger, and just as you went to pull it over your head, the room lit up as Dayeon turned on the lamp on her nightstand.

"Oh, that's where you're at." She spoke tiredly and rubbed her eyes before she got up, pushing away the blankets with a yawn. "Why aren't you in bed with me?"

"Because I was cold." You said as you pulled on her hoodie.

After it was over your head, she came up behind you and put her arms around you.

"Someone was hogging the blanket and let go of me in their sleep, so I got cold and had no other choice but to put this on."

"Well, I'd apologize, but if I hadn't done that you wouldn't be wearing my hoodie and you look good in my hoodie." She spoke in your ear, her hands falling to your hips before she lovingly kissed your cheek.

"Really?" You asked, starting to grin as your heart fluttered with love.

"Yeah." She smiled. "You're so beautiful, my love."

"Thank you."

She kissed your cheek once more, her soft lips lingering against your skin causing your lips to tug into a bright smile.

"But I honestly am very sorry for making you cold. Come back to bed. I'll hold you and make sure we share the blanket evenly."

"Okay." You agreed but before turning around to go back to bed, she started to lay a few kisses across your neck, telling you again and again that you take her breath away.

"You're the most beautiful girl in the world, even more so in my clothes."

"I love you." You spoke, her lips on your skin making a soft sigh fall from your lips as she kept her warm arms around you.

She let you go momentarily though as you walked across the room to get back into bed, where she covered you up with the blanket and pulled you into her arms.

"I'm much warmer now."

"I'm very happy to hear that, my love." She smiled and kissed your forehead, her fingers brushing through your hair.

"I think I can finally fall asleep."

"Good." She spoke softly. "Get some sleep. Have sweet dreams, darling. You deserve it."

"Goodnight, Dayeon," you said, listening to her heartbeat as you drifted off to sleep.

"Goodnight, baby." She smiled as she watched you fall asleep before turning off the lamp and laying her head on the pillow, happy to know you were much warmer and getting some rest now, too.
