Slowly I got lifted off the ground,my ribs felt tight and I couldn't move. I opened my eyes in dismay, the trees of my forest home slowly became smaller and wings beat upon my back. I wondered if my mom was coming for me,she must! She would never leave me...Would she?
It felt like a moon as I flew within the sky,the hope of my mother coming for me faded away like the darkness at dawn. Suddenly I saw high standing rocks,I felt as if I was falling as the creature that carried me soared down towards the odd rocks. I gave a trembling sigh as my small white paws touched the rock ground, the creature that had carried me so far away from my home and my mother glared at me with golden blazing eyes and a yellow pointy nose. They had an odd pelt,it rippled in golden brown and grey, they also had long limbs instead of paws. I felt small in-front of them-..Well,I was smaller than most things rather than the other kits in my nursery...The odd creature jumped into the sky and spread its long limbs, slowly they became smaller and farther. I parted my jaws, the air was windy and carried odd smells. My white paws carried me farther along the rocks steep edges, everything was silent as always. As I walked farther along the rocks edges I got lost in thought, realizing the silent longing to smell the warm milk I became so familiar to,the longing for everything around me not to be silent as it had been for as long as I remembered, most of all the deep longing to see my mother again... I turned my bright blue gaze towards the blue sky that dappled the rocks with sun light, the sun at its highest point within the peaking sky. My small paws felt tired, though curiosity coursed through me as I saw a small opening in the rocks. Of course I bounded into the odd opening, suddenly stumbling down into a pool of water. All the sun light sheltered by clear and rippling water that pushed me down,my small paws thrashed around trying to push towards an opening to get air. My eyes shut and suddenly I was being picked up,opening my eyes I took in deep yet shallow breaths. I turned my gaze a bit to the side and saw the chest of a brown cat...? The brown cat carefully gripped my white scruff, confusion tingled my paws as the odd cat carried me through a water fall and into a small narrow path edges with sharp pointed stones. I felt my small tail thrashing in alarm, the brown cat leaped across the narrow path and trotted into a small camp like place with stones and dirt. The brown cat dropped me softly onto the warm rocky ground,my ears flattened in fright as a tall and lean grey speckled silver cat with glowing amber eyes glared at me then to the brown cat that touched my shoulder with the tip of their sleek tail. My brows arched in confusion as they moved their jaws yet nothing came out, glancing between the both at last the grey cat gave a brief nod and crouched in-front of me. My eyes narrowed in confusion as my blue gaze fixed to the grey cats amber glowing eyes, once again their jaw moved and eye brows arched yet nothing sounded. I saw curiosity in their eyes,I opened my jaws and felt something come out of my throat yet I couldn't exactly hear what had came. Their sleek grey ears flattened and they glanced from 'me to the brown cat then back,I focused on their lips and could make out a few words-..Soon I connected them together and understood what they said to me. "What is a small kit like you doing within The Tribe Of Rushing Water territory?" the grey cat mouthed, their curious optics narrowed as the tip of their sleek tail twitched. Tribe of rushing water..? I echoed curiously,I knew I came from ThunderClan that wasn't a tribe. My optics narrowed as I gazed into their eyes, then they shook their grey and silver head and arose. I watched closely as the grey and brown cats mouthed to each other, both giving occasional glances to me with narrowed eyes and twitching tail tips. A few moments went by until the grey cat bowed in front of me once again,I read their lips and they had said; "I am StoneTeller, leader of this tribe. May I ask your name small kit?" My whiskers twitched in acknowledgment, parting my jaws carefully. "My name is SnowKit." I must've slurred my words heavily as once I finished I could tell they tried to hold in a laugh, giving a brief nod of my words they turned back to the brown cat. I wondered what the cats would do to me,they nodded to each other and the grey cat padded off. Leaving the brown cat crouched in front of me,carefully mouthing; "I'm Mud Covering Plains. Mud for short." I have a brief smile at such the odd choice of name. "I will be your queen, welcome to the tribe." Mud mouthed, her eyes soft. I gave a warm smile as Mud picked me up,trotting towards a small group of tall and lean kits. Three of them, all taller than me,they must've been a few moons older than me. Carefully my new queen dropped me near her paws."This is Sparrow Singing At Dawn,Sparrow for short." Mud smiled,Sparrow was a tall yet fluffy light brown tabby molly with welcoming amber eyes. Mud then flicked her tail towards two large and fluffy toms that wrestled each other, yowling a few raged words at them and quickly making them sit at each side of Sparrow. "Then we have your new brothers. Eagle Soaring Through Clouds and Hawk Diving at Dawn,Eagle and Hawk for short." Mud explained,I found it a bit easy to read her lips in fact. Eagle was a strongly built and lean dark brown tabby tom with large paws and a long tail, his eyes glowing amber; Hawk held a protective gave as he pressed against his sister,he was a light brown tabby with large paws and fur on his ears along with inquiring golden eyes. I dipped my head to the three, quickly they scrambled towards me and gave curious yet welcoming sniffs to my white pelt. Mud gave an approving nod to the kits, laying down a few mouse lengths away from us with a protective gaze.
For a little while the four of us wrestled and raced playfully, after the sun dipped under the clouds we snuggled against Mud and fell sound asleep.
