Your grandmother was friends with Alma, back in the day. They knew each other since diapers and grew up to be best friends.When your grandmother fell in love with your grandfather, it was love ar first sight. They quickly married and then had your mom.Unfortunately, your grandfather passed away from the sickness. Your grandmother tried to do everything in her power to save him but there wasn't a cure for that sickness and your grandmother was forced to watch love of her life dying.Shortly after, your grandmother village was burned down and Pedro, Alma's husband was killed. Alma created a miracle and with the rest of her friends, started building Encanto.You and Camilo were best friends since diapers. When your grandmother's meet each other regularly, you used to play and prank people, causing mischief around the village.The feelings started to appear when you were around eleven years old. Slowly you both started to see each other in the different light. The more you were growing up, the more you started to realize that what you were feeling was something much deeper.But the problem was that you were afraid to react on it. Your friendship was stable and strong, and neither of you wanted to break it. But secretly, you both wanted something more. Much much more.When you have reached the age of nineteen, that's when your family began to push you towards the marriage.At first, you were strongly against it, but the more your family talked about, the more you started to see that maybe it wasn't so bad after all. Your mind was fully convinced that Camilo would never like you, and so, maybe it would be easier if you started to look for someone else to love.Then, you met a guy. He was nice, had a lot in common with you and your family liked him.Camilo, who was in love with you too, noticed it and he wasn't happy at all about it. Jealousy was eating him alive day after day, and he was getting tired of it.One day, when you were both hanging around, he causally started to ask you about the guy, why were you seeing him, what was your relationship and if you were interested in romantically.Feeling your heart squeezing painfully, you answered him that he was cute and maybe you'll ask him out.Camilo heart shattered in that moment. He was so sure that you would tell him that the guy was only your friend and you were not interested in him. But apparently he wad wrong.In that moment, he realized that he was too late. He should have asked you out a long while ago and maybe then, he would have an actual chance.Now all Camilo could do was to support his best friend and her choices, pretending that everything was fine.And even if he had managed to fool everyone, Dolores and Mirabel weren't so stupid. They knew that Camilo had feelings for you and when they found out that and some guy were becoming closer everyday, they felt alarmed.They were sure that you returned Camilo's feelings, that's why they knew they needed to act. Quickly.Because Dolores had heard that the guy planned to propose soon. Very soon.So, they informed the rest about the whole matter and formed a plan. The second generation of Madrigal's, planned a party. They were saying that it was for you and the guy you were seeing, but in reality they gave a last chance to Camilo. Last chance to confess his feelings to you.Dolores told him everything and Camilo felt like crying, because he was so happy. He hugged his sister tightly, whispering thank you's over and over again.When the day of the party quickly arrived and everything was prepared. The decorations, food and Camilo's confession. The Madrigal family and villagers began to have fun, and Camilo waited for the perfect moment to take you to the side.And he found it, when the guy you were seeing went to the bathroom. Taking his chance, Camilo swiped in and dragged you to his room.❝ What are you doing?! ❞ You asked Camilo, puzzled and a little dizzy, because of how fast you were running.❝ Confessing to you. ❞ Camilo answered confidently, taking your hands in his. ❝ I love you, do you understand? I love you with all my heart and soul. And I can't let you go just like that. My heart wouldn't be able to bear it, because you are love of my life, Mi Amore. Please, be with me? ❞❝ Yes. ❞ You answered without thinking, kissing him shortly after.And the guy who planned to confess? He accidentally got teleported to the magic world of fairies and donuts, where he became a professional magic dust maker in the color of pink.
