The New Assistant

I had just recently moved into this new village called Encanto. I was in need for a job and the Madrigals just had an job as an assistant.

"Okay okay, hair done~ , outfit done~."-I said as i got ready.

I took an arepa and flew out the door. As i walked through the village, I could hear people whispering, but I just kept going my on way.

I finally arrived and it was hugeee-I knocked on the door and it magiaclly opened.

"This is some voodoo shit right here-" -i said as i walked inside.

Chairs started to move a rainbow was up in the house, flowers started to bloom everywhere. And I stood there ready to fucking run away.

A teenage looking girl with green glasses approached me.

"Ah, you must be here for the job I'm assuming!"- she said.

"Yeah-?"- i said still kind of shocked from this black magic.

"Great, cmon my abuela is waiting for you!" - she said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me inside.

As we walked in an old looking woman came close to me.

"Welcome to La Familia Madrigal"- she stated in a soft tone. "My name is Alma Madrigal. Follow me please"she said while smiling.

I followed her into a balcony. A table and two chairs started to move in our direction. We sat down  while I was wondering what the hell just happened.

"I'll be very honest with you. This job is as an assistant for my Bruno"- she said.

"Bruno?I'm very sorry but I am very new here. I don't know anyone to be honest. "

"Well Let me introduce you to my family.."

As she started to introduce her family we got to Brunos story. I felt bad. Really bad. I didn't know the guy but i just wanted to give him a hug. But the gifts?? Still amazed-

"I'll take it."- i said while interrupting her.

"Ah, gracías!" - follow me i'll introduce you to him.

We started to walk up to his door. Alma knocked and this skinny , 5'7 men  with curly dark brown hair comes out. Eye bags, a beard. A green poncho.Just wow, i thought to myself.

"Yes Máma?"

"This is Y/N she will be your new assistant"- Alma said with a smile while turning to me.

"An assistant?" - he said confused as he looked at me.

"Yes, she will be taking care of your needs and appointments with the civilians of Encanto."

"Máma I don't need an assistant. I-I'm fine on my own."- he said in denial.

"Give her a chance papito!"

"Okay, má..I'll give this thing a chance.Come in Y/N"

"Me?I- Okay!"- i said as i walked in this sand room.

There was sand everywhere.

We walk up to somewhere and I see this long room with a LOT of stairs.

"You have got to be kidding me right"- i said as i chuckled.

"Yeah, this is my room-"- he said while giving a little smile and rubbing his neck with his neck.

"Then cmon papito lets go see your room"- i said as i started to climb the stairs.

"Papito?I. Wait?!"- he said confused.

We started to climb the stairs and.

"Of course there's a hole. There's always a door." - i said as i looked at the gap between his  room.

Out of nowhere Bruno jumped and started to parkour to the other side, and continued his way to his room.

"Well I if you can do it I probably can't but i'll try." I said while starting to run with full speed towards the hole.

I jumped high!I flew!But i failed. And I thankfully caught the corner of the other side with my hand. I started to call Bruno but no answer.

"BRUNO!BRUNOOO!HEY BRUNO IM ABOUT TO FALL!"- i kept screaming while i was panicking.

I was ready to fall when he finally caught my hand. He pulled me and i was breathing heavily.

"What took you so long!"- i asked him.

"I couldn't here you. But my pet rat told me so i came."- he replied while fidgeting with his hands.

"You have a pet rat!"- i said excitedly.

"Yeah?"- he said while putting on his hand a rat.

"Aww, whose this little guy"- i said while petting his hat.

"Okay, so let me show you the room so you can go."- he said as he got up and walked into this cave.

There was glowing things everywhere. We started to walk around, and after he showed me his room, hen immediately told me to leave.

"Why so soon?"- i asked.

"Well, if i had a good reason you would say oh wow that is a good reason I should leave. But I don't have one."- he said while moving his hands.

"Okay, then I'll leave"- i said as I walked away.

I walked two steps  and then yelled. "Bye Brunitooo~"

I walked out of the cave and then I remembered. THE HOLE.

"Oh for gods sake."- i said while i was thinking if i could die if i try to jump again.

I look up and i see a rope. Well.

"Okay this is fine. I can do this."- i said with the rope in my hand.

I jumped and i actually survived. I started to walk down the stairs. And i got out of his room.

"I'm not climbing stairs, or jumping over holes, for some time."
