Chapter 1-Impossible To Ignore

A typical day in the life of 13-year-old Alexis Monroe would begin with her writing in her journal about her crazy dreams, followed by the senior warden jokingly chastising her for not knowing about the daily news or having such awful handwriting, even though she knew Alexis didn't care one bit.

But today, Alexis was certain that the sun rose in the wrong direction because it was the first time in years that she hadn't had a crazy fanatic dream but instead just a very astonishingly familiar voice repeating the same sentence. She was relieved that this nightmare was over, but she was so wrong because she had no idea what destiny had in store for her. When she got out of bed, she noticed the senior warden flicking through the pages of her journal. Alexis was sick of seeing it, and Alexis's closest friend Amelia recognized it all too well. She didn't know what was about to happen, but she was afraid just thinking about it.

Let's go for a ride, just so you know. Alexis had known Amelia for as long as they could remember, but there was this jerk named Jake Rider who had made the mistake of reading Alexis's diary and the next thing they knew Alexis was onto him and Amelia was cheering Alexis the three broke into a catfight and that's when Alexis's and Amelia's parents realized it was time to send both of these little demons to boarding school.

As you surely have guessed by now, Alexis ascended to the top bunk and landed on the warden's head, then began swinging from her hair and saying, "Hey Shelby, I know your actual name, and now the whole of the dorm does as well. Shelby, did your parents teach you any etiquette, such as not touching anyone's personal belongings?" Alexis found herself in the headmistress's chamber, where the warden was crying and Amelia was pleading for compassion on her closest friend.

The headmistress was dying within after hearing what Alexis had done to her instructor, and she was terrified that such conduct would have an impact on Alexis's life and career in the outside world.

So she determined that Alexis should be moved to a place where she could interact more, which would help her keep her fury in check while also allowing her to make new friends. She changed all of Alexis's classes and made sure that Alexis and amelia were not in the same batch, but she realized that after the incident, only amelia was a person, so close to Alexis, who could love and care for her because Alexis would refrain from talking to anyone but amelia after hearing the news.
