Chapter 4

Hi everyone! So so so sorry that this update is like a bajillion years late! I had a major writer's block and school got in the way and blah blah but finally here's an update! I love the TV show Once Upon A Time and they did a Frozen thing in the first half of the new season so I might use some inspiration from that but I promise I won't use anything that changes the storyline a lot :)

Anna's POV:

After the kingdom ice cream party, Elsa, Olaf, & I go back to the castle. I kind of wish Olaf didn't tell me about Kristoff because now that's all I can think about!

"Elsa, please help me think of something else!" I beg her.

She just giggles and says,"Anna it's ok, what else do you wanna think about?"

We're in our parents' room sitting on a couch & I get an idea. "Didn't Mama have a diary?"

"Oh yeah! I completely forgot about that!" Elsa gets excited. "Ever since they...left...all I've ever thought about is how everything is my fault..."

"Oh, Elsa, how could it be your fault? Here, let's find her diary and find out more about our mom? It's been so long, the memories of our parents are becoming more distant!"

"Well, ok umm where do we look?"

"Ooh it's like a scavenger hunt!" Olaf exclaims. Elsa seems to have her energy back and I start to look through our parents' drawers trying my best not to change much. I find lots of little portraits of me & Elsa when we were little but no diary.

Elsa's POV:

I'm looking through the cabinets while Anna looks through the drawers. Neither of us find the diary.

"Have you guys checked around the bed?" Olaf chimes in, "I know if I were a diary—whatever that is, but think it's some sort of secret book, right?—anyway, if I were diary I would be somewhere around the bed cuz its more comfy!"

I smile at the snowman and head toward their bed and feel under the pillow. Nope nothing there. Next I feel under the mattress. Nope nothing—wait!

"Anna! I think I found something!" I put my arm further in and grab the book. Yup, that's it!

Anna comes quickly towards me. "Oh my gosh! Why didn't we think of the bed earlier? It would have saved so much time I mean I know if I were Mama I wouldn't just leave it anywhere, you know?"

Anna's POV:

We start to read.

Dear Diary,

I'm pregnant with a baby girl! Our first child, oh my goodness!  I hope she grows to be a strong queen, we will teach her to be courageous and kind...

We skip through a few pages...

Dear Diary,

She's born! We've named her Elsa and she is the most beautiful little girl anyone could ask for, what's interesting is she sneezes little snowmen. This is unnatural so we looked through the library and Kai found an old legend about Arendelle saying that every hundred years a royal child is born with a gift? We've realized Elsa has ice powers because whenever she cries, snow appears on her hands and when she was laughing it started to snow inside! I hope this doesn't trouble her in the future because we love her anyway...

Elsa has a little smile creeping up on her and she skips forward to when I was born.

Dear Diary,

Anna is born and 3-year-old Elsa is as happy as ever! She showed Anna snow before we even stepped outside in the sun! It seems like they're going to be best friends...

Elsa looks at me with an apologetic look on her face,"I'm so sorry I ruined that for us, Anna..."

"Elsa, it doesn't matter! I love you and I remember the days before...the incident...and they were lovely! But I also remember the past year and those days are even better because now you have complete control over your powers and you don't have to worry! I'm pretty sure my head and heart are immune to being frozen anyway," I give her a wink and she smiles

"Hey, where were they going, anyway? You know, when they left for 2 weeks?" I ask Elsa.

"A wedding, I believe, Our cousin's wedding. But I don't know if their ship was lost before or after."

"Oh yeah! Why couldn't we go? I love weddings!"

"I don't know actually...oh maybe because we hadn't revealed my powers yet and we had to keep it from you and, you know, everyone else."

My stomach growls loudly.

"You're hungry again?" Elsa questions me. "We just had ice cream!"

"Well, yeah but it's lunch time!" I reply.

"Ugh, ok I'm hungry, too. What should we ask Gerda to make?"

I give a mischievous smile and say, "SANDWICHES!"

"Haha ok let's go! We can finish this later," Elsa puts the diary back and we head down to the kitchen.

Did i succeed in making this longer? I don't know haha ok I will do my best to update again sometime this week or this weekend please don't hate me!
