Y/n grimaces as Tyrell opens the door hearing the man on the screen yelling at Carlos then cuts off the call. Tyrell speaks "I like him already." "Yeah, you would. you heard what he said we can don't turn him over to the company" Carlos says with a bit of worry in his voice. "that is not our call to make. that is Mikhail's call. I am going to check the computer and see if I can track the doc's location." Tyrell speaks again after a moment " This'll take some time. look around, see if you can find anything useful." Carlos nods then turns to Y/n jesters to her to follow him so she does but a little more enthusiastically than she had intended. he soon speaks up "how are you holding up in all of this?" Y/n looks at him wide-eyed her heart skips for a brief moment at the thought that he is worried about her. It takes her a moment to respond yet she does so with confidence "I am doing better than I thought I would be. Especially after all that I have seen" He gives her a faint smile "good. Given you almost cracked me in the head with a baseball bat at the start of all this" he says with a laugh" Y/n's face flushes with embarrassment but she laughs with him "yeah sorry about that I was a bit high strung at that moment" It goes quiet after that but it is a calm and peacefully quiet no noise said for Tyrell typing at the keyboard. They both look for anything that can be of use or aid them. They wander away from one another Carlos taking the captain's office and Y/n looking through the desks in the main area. Out of nowhere, Carlos speaks "is that Jill in the front ?" a small twinge of jealousy runs through her Y/n and she thinks to herself why? "who ?" Carlos turns around to see Y/n in the door. " someone else I ran into she is a member of stars she helped me to get the subway back up and running" Y/n quickly changes the subject " Have you found anything yet" he shakes his head "only a rejected report what about you." Y/n sighed "not a thing." he walks past her to the door he was about to say something until his attention to his earpiece and his demeanor shifts "yeah what's up?" he pauses for a moment. "derailed? was anyone hurt?" Tyrell speaks up "Jill?" Carlos gives him a knowing look. he turns his attention back to the person on the line "ah shit." his demeanor changes once again and he raises his tone "WAIT, WHAT? Jill, Jill, What happened?" he pauses for a moment "jill come in" Y/n can now see the concern on his face. "T I gotta go" he turns on his heels and Tyrell responds "do what you gotta. I will take care of bard" without hesitation Y/n steps forward "I am going with you" Carlos turns to her " it is not safe out there" and without even thinking for a moment " exactly why you should not go out there alone" he sighs not wanting to waste any time "fine but stay close" he rushes out the door and she follows behind him.
