Up to this point what I tell people has been lies. For anything and everything. It's not that I like lying, it is just to protect me and what happens to me in the future. This pandemic is really straight-up annoying. I and my sisters Honey and Eva tested negative. But, my parents got it.
You would think that I would at least tell ONE person. But no, I didn't. Sorry to disappoint you if you actually thought I was. All that anyone knows is that they are so sick, they can't speak or get out of bed. But as I said before I lie a lot so... you guessed it, they aren't sick. Here's the catch though . . . They are dead.
You are probably screaming at me. I get it. You can, I won't blame you. But you don't know the REASON why. You're probably saying "Get to the point already!" So my reason is that I AM ABSOLUTELY, NEVER, EVER GOING TO FOSTER CARE!!!
Now, you are probably thinking I should just go to one of my family's houses. But I ain't going to a strict household. Just not doing it. So yeah, deal with it. Only my younger sister Eva who is only 11 years old knew about it, but she didn't want to believe it so she committed suicide. As I stated before I lie, so I never actually told anyone :3
I haven't mentioned my other sister Honey, though, and she is a pain in the . . . mmmm.... Neck. She literally has NO clue what is going on. I leave her in her room and only let her out to eat, take a shower, or use the bathroom. I know it seems a bit mean, but hey, do YOU wanna scar a five-year-old when she hears that her parents and sister are dead.
I thought so. Don't be trying to judge me here! Well anyways, since my other family members think "my parents and sister are sick'' my aunt drops off food for us and puts it on the porch. So, I don't have to buy anything. Also, my parents have been using unemployment since last year in March to pay the bills.
We get $1200 a month plus my money which is 1200, my both sister's money is 2000, and my parents' 40,000 which is 44,400. I don't have to pay much because I canceled the cable so it is less. I took my parents' phone plan off and only kept mine so it is only $10 dollars a month. Then for rent, it is $200 dollars a month and for the car, it's 706 a month not including gas. So if I were to do the math, I would have dollars a month and if I saved it for 6 months it would be $260,904.
Anyways, I took Honey out of the house for the first time in a long time and brought her into my car, and drove the two blocks to our aunt's house. I drove up to her driveway and beeped. I unlocked the door to let Honey out. My aunt opened the door while Honey walked down the driveway.
I drove away to go back to the house. When I pulled up, I straightened the car and parked it. I skip every two steps until I get to the top. I unlock the door and I take off my shoes. I walk down the hallway and open the hallway door which leads to the living room.
I walk past the kitchen, the dining room, and I go up the two stairs. I take a right to walk down the other hallway to stare at the first door. My parents' room. I walk up to the door and hesitate. I slowly grab the doorknob and open the door. Every time I open the door slowly it squeaks. I looked inside, and even though it was just me standing there, I started to tear up.
I whispered "I'm sorry.''
I went to the last door which was my room. I opened it and walked in. I walked past my bed to my stuff. I take a pretty big backpack and put my clothes in it. I actually didn't think all my clothes would fit in it but I guess it does. I zip my backpack and go to my shelf. I put all my hygiene stuff in one of my smaller backpacks.
I look around my room to think of what else to bring. I turn around and I see a box. I walk towards it to see what is in it. I kneel down and moved stuff around that was in the box and I found pictures. But they are not random ones ... they are from when they were still here. I look through the photos for I don't know how long but, these photos were from when we were happy and we were alive and healthy. I can't help but just sit there and cry.
I grab the box and seal it with tape, then put it beside my backpacks. After I grab everything except my bed and my shelf, because you know I am not trying to pick it up and drag it down the stairs. I grab my backpacks and the box to bring them downstairs. I put the box down to open the door. Once I got it opened, I picked up the box again, walked down the stairs, and put everything into the car. I walk to the other side of the car and sit in the driver's seat. I put the key in, and the car starts. I pull my seat belt to put it in the lock. When it clicks I look back at my house.
Then I said "Goodbye."
