We lost against the Bucks right after. After that we got serious, we stopped messing around and got a 12-game win streak losing only to the Pheonix Suns. Right after that, we won again, making us lead the league with 20 wins and 3 losses.

- Bro is averaging fewer assists than anyone in the western conference. - The locker room was getting slightly heated.

- What are you trying to say? - I said, wiping my face with a towel, - we're leading 20-3 and you have a problem with that? Assists my ass, I'm almost leading with points per game.

- This fool over here tryna be like Mike.

That made me irrationally angry.  I can stand hate, I can take a lot of things, but getting flamed by my own teammates for carrying the team is something I would never stand for.

- I have double the points per game as you, what are you even talking about bro? You're in no place to speak here. -  I finally decided to speak up.

- Yeah cause I never get the fucking ball, you're playing alone out there. Also, I don't get nearly the same amount of minutes so don't even.

- Whatever bro. - Everything seemed to die out.

- Well. - Joshua stood up to have the final word. -  I don't want to get involved in this little talk you're having, but all I know is if I want to win last minute, I'm getting the ball to Jayden. That's all I gotta say on that and I'm not gonna comment anything else.

I didn't have or want to say anything else. All I knew is that I had to crank up the pettiness. The Celtics were our next opponent. But I was petty - extremely petty. For the first half, I didn't throw a single shot - every time I had the ball I passed it onto someone else. Now don't get me wrong - I still tried, I tried passing the best I could. Making sure everyone who wanted the ball had it for a considerable amount of time. Half-time passed and we were lacking by 30 points.

- Jayden, 0 points, come on brother. - The same guy who told me I played alone said.

- I'm just letting others play since they want that so much. I'm sorry, - I sarcastically said, - do you want me to throw shots?

- Yes. - He bravely said.

- Do you think we're gonna lose if I don't?

- We'll probably lose either way, so just close the gap by as much as you can. - The coach said. - I don't know what's going on with you all but you need to get it together. And Jayden, grow the fuck up.

- Oh I'll grow, trust me. - I was more than ready to play again. My nails were itching.

With a minute to go, I closed the gap to three points. Well, okay, "we" closed the gap. The clock was ticking and I was nowhere near the net. Even if I had tried to throw in the game-winning shot, the chances were slim to none. At that exact moment, with three seconds to go, I noticed - nobody is defending Derrick White, so I did something I never thought I'd do - I passed the ball to him for the final shot. Derrick panicked for a split second, lined up the shot and there was nobody to stop him. It went straight in, forcing overtime.

- LET'S GO. - I screamed. We all went ham on Derrick. - Ain't nobody was expecting that. I wasn't even expecting me to pass.

- Yo, straight up, - Murray smiled, - I thought you were gonna shoot that shot, Jayden.

- There was no way I was making that, brother.

The rest of the game was a piece of cake. We took the Celtics and got another dub.

We were on a winning high, but then it was time to play the Golden State Warriors. I decided to take a little break before the game. After all, we were on a huge streak.
