As the weeks passed, I saw his face more and more wherever I went. Whenever it was my turn to get groceries for dinner, he was always there, in the same store, in the same spot where we had previously bumped into each other. Finally I decided to ask him just exactly why he had repetitively been following me.
" Ok, I know this may seem a little forward, but are you following me? I'm sorry but eveywhere I go, you're always there and you are always lurking on me and it's really starting to creep me out ok so what is going on?!" I question him, hopeing to recieve an answer. He just stared at me. "Ok listen, I know you may not be following me, but it seems like you are, so kindly if you could just tell me if you are or not, that would be really great..." I said with hopeful eyes. After a few seconds, I recieved a response," I'm not following. I'm observing." He stated, walking away.
I was a bit frustrated with this whole thing, but I think what he said meant that he was following me... whatever. I casually left the store and went home.
Once I reached my humble abode, I walked inside greeted by my mother among two other people. "Hey Brianna! This is Mr. and Mrs. Irwin, they are our new neighbors! They have a son, his name is Ashton and they will be having dinner with us!" My mother said very joyous. "Oh hi! I'm Brianna Keanley nice to meet you, where's your son?" I asked shaking both their hands. "Oh dear, Ashton just had to use the bathroom, I'm sure he'll be here any second." She replied with a slight smile. "Who will be here any second?" A familiar voice questioned from behind me. I turned around finding the same boy from the super market smirking down at me. I panicked. "Ok well I'm gonna go upstairs and get ready for dinner! I'll be back soon!" I fake smiled to Mr. and Mrs. Irwin, looking at Ashton unable to even think, and I leave.
"Holy shit Mary! The guy from the Super Market, yeah he's my new neighbor and my mom invited him and his parents over for dinner! What the hell am I supposed to do?!" I rushed my voice while I asked my friend Mary for advice. "Well you could always just talk to him instead of gossiping about him?" His voice rang from my doorway. I whipped my head around looking back. "Hey Mary can I call you later I've got something I've gotta take care of, bye." I hung up on Mary. "Ok so why the hell are you here? For all you know I could have been half naked and changing!" I freaked on him. He smiled, "All the more fun that would have been!" I glared at him. "Alright Irwin. What do you want? Money, sex, drugs?" I questioned. "Ah so you finally have figured out my name?" He smirked. "Seriously what do you want?" I asked once again. "Hmmm. Well I've been thinking Bri." He said sitting on my bed, laying on his side. "I think you and me got off on the wrong foot and I wanna make it up. So hows bout you and me tomorrow night, I'll take you out to dinner and we can go to a movie or something?" He said cockily. "Why would you want to go on a date with me?" I asked very serious. "Because you intruige me and you seem kinda cool." He said staring into my eyes. "Fine, but only one date and that's it." I said quite annoyed. "Alright babe, better get back to dinner, why don't you dress in something sexy for tonight?" He winked walking out of my room, and downstairs. This was going to be a very painful dinner.
