~In the Northwest Manor~

Dipper banged on the door. "GWEN! PAZ! LET ME IN!" He yelled.

Pacifica ran to the door. "Dip? What are you doing here?"

"I need to speak with your cousin. Immediately."

"Alright. Gwen! Come here!" Pacifica yelled over her shoulder.

"Coming!" A voice from the other room yelled. Gwen ran in a few seconds later.

"Oh, hey Dipper."

"Paz, I gotta tell Gwen something. Alone." Dipper said.

"Okay, of course." Pacifica strolled off.

"Yeah?" Gwen said, motioning for him to come inside.

"I figured something out." He said, walking inside.

Oops, time for me to take over, Diamond!

No! Not now, Bill! Gwen thought. It must be about what she had said, so she had to be there.

Heh, you really think you can stop me controlling you? Too late! Bill gleefully jumped into Gwen's body, controlling her again.

"I'm sure it's nothing, Pinetree."

"Bill! Get out of Gwen's body!"

"No thank you. She shook my hand, you know. Like you did. It's fair and square, she knew what she was getting herself into. And I've been a lot kinder this time. No 'living sock puppets' as you and Shooting Star have called the whole ordeal."

"What did you promise her in return!?" Dipper yelled at Bill-Gwen (Bwen)

"I promised her powers. And that's what I gave her." Bwen said, a blue flame actually emerging from their hand.

"But how could you do this? We defeated you last summer!" Dipper said, realizing the actual truth in the matter.

"You really thought it would be THAT easy? When Stanley regained his memories, he also regained his memories of me. I was alive again, weak, sure, but alive in your Grunkle's mind. I just needed a body to possess, and I could do something, have my powers back!"

"Get OUT of Gwen's mind and body! She's done nothing to deserve this!" Dipper yelled.

"We made a deal, Pinetree. It's not that easy."

Gwen was watching, and she tried to rack her brain for what she had learned in the journal, so that she could stop Bill. No, no, no- wait, that might work!

"But you know what? Maybe I'll let Diamond-"

Hey Bill!

"What, can't you see I'm BUSY?" Bwen yelled.

DEAL'S OFF!

"No! I gave you powers! It was fair and square!"

Dipper could almost hear Gwen yell. "You heard the girl. Deal's off, Cipher. Get out of my girlfriend's mind. Right now."

"NO! You can't do tHiS tO mE!" Bill's voice fragmented and faded, and it was Gwen again.

Gwen shot back into her body, and crumpled on the ground.

"Gwen! Are you okay? What am I asking, I know this feeling. Just relax, you'll feel better.

"Did- did you call me your girlfriend?" Gwen quietly asked.

Dipper blushed really hard. "Um.. ye- yes..?"

"Why- why, though?" She asked again, stuttering.

"You know, just the- just the spur of the moment." They stood there in an awkward silence.

"Did you find out what I said?"

"N-no, I didn't. I d-don't speak French..."

"That's why I said it." She smiled a bit.

Dipper smiled back, blushing. "Y- yeah." Why did he always have to be a nervous wreck!? "Um... what DID you say, anyways?

She rubbed her arm, blushing hard. "Erm, are you sure you wanna know?"

"Yes." He simply said.

"Well... I said..." She breathed in and out. "I like you, Mason. I love you."

Dipper was stunned. Mabel had been right. "Oh... and here's me thinking you hate me!" He said, laughing.

"Heh." She said, twirling a strand of hair around her finger.

"Well, I like you too." And they leaned closer.

"Good to know."

And he leaned in further and kissed her.
