This guide exists for all the new writers out there who just don't know where to start.
Writing can be very daunting--the sight of a totally blank page is intimidating to even the most seasoned veterans. When you're a beginner, it may seem like you're never going to fill that page, and that when you do, it won't be worth reading. I'm here to remind you that what you have to say is worth hearing, and more than that, it's worth learning how to say it well.
Writing is a skill, and like any skill, you can't become an expert overnight. It takes practice and study, and it's important to learn how to listen to those who have been writing longer than you have. But don't feel embarrassed--remember that every great artist started with stick figures! Keep at it, and you'll be creating masterpieces in no time!
The sections in this guide won't be in any particular order, so you can jump in with any chapter that looks interesting or helpful to you; although, I do recommend starting with "Reading to Write", as it will give you a good foundation that you can use every day.
If you'd like specific advice on a particular part of writing, please leave a comment on this section! Requests on other sections will not be considered, to keep things neat.
