Sundrop/Moondrop x reader

Chapter 5!

"w-what?!" you were shocked by what moon told you. "i-." you were speechless. moon looked away and stood up. he started to walk away and mumbled something under his breath. you ran after he and shouted "stop wait! please let me explain!" you desperately reached for him.

moondrop stopped walking. he didn't turn to you but this was enough for you. "listen, i like both of you, a lot! i've never felt this way for a human before for either of you. the reason i've been spending more time with sun is because i'm afraid of the dark and the lights barley ever go out." you explained in one breath. now it was his turn to show an emotion of shock.

"but i'm trying to get over this fear of shock for you. moondrop.. i-i love you! i love you and sundrop! i don't want to have to chose between the two of you but i don't wanna make you angry either!" you continued. moondrop looked like he didn't know what to say. there was a awkward silence.  "b-but you-. i thought you liked sun more? why? why both of us? isn't sun way better than me?" moondrop eventually said.

"no, i love both of you the same. but your animatronics, you guys probably don't feel the same why and now it's gonna be awkward. just pretend i said nothing." you replied hurt. you thought moondrop just rejected you. you turned to walk away clutching onto your sleeves of your sweater with tears in your eyes.

suddenly you felt a warm object wrap around you, it looked like moondrop. "moony?" you looked up and he was smiling down on you. "of course we feel the same way. me and sun share a same mind and can easily talk to one another. he would constantly talk about you and say how much he loved you and by the way you acted towards him you felt the same way. i was just jealous i'm so sorry y/n." moondrop said to you.

you turned towards him and hugged him tighter. "i'll talk to sun and see if we can get something worked out" he said while still hugging you. a comfortable silence fell over you two. moon pulled away after a few minutes. "hey how about this time we actually hang out instead of just finding those stupid generators" you asked moondrop.

"i thought you were afraid of the dark?" moondrop said. "well i can try not to be?" you giggled. "i have a gas that will make you calm but it'll also make you tired. i'm aloud to use it on kids who won't fall asleep, with their parents permission of course, would you like me to try and use it on you? i don't know if it'll relieve you from your fear of the dark but it should help clam you." he informed you.

"what's the harm in trying?" you said. moondrop grabbed you hand and intertwined his fingers with yours. "i know a cool place we could go." he said.

moondrop guided you to a place with a flooring that felt like soft foam mattresses. the room was big and it's ceiling was covered in glow in the dark stars. all the walls were black. you two laid down next to each other. you sighed and moondrop grabbed a hold off your waist, you rested your hands on his shoulders. he released the gas and you two relaxed and cuddled together. eventually after about 30 minutes or so you fell asleep..
