I cried and hit my fist into the hard, brick wall. "Why am I not good enough?!?" I put my mask on and swung to the top of the Empire State building. I sat and thought. I won't let this happen- ever-again.

I woke up and looked at the alarm clock on my messy nightstand. 7:30! Shit! I rushed downstairs and Aunt May looked as if she had been waiting for hours. "Peter, you're 15 now, am I going to have to wake you up? Anyway, you're  going to be late for your first day of school. Now go get in the car, Uncle Ben is waiting for you." She said. "Sorry May!" I yelled as I ran out the door. As I got in the old blue Ford, Uncle Ben said something. I couldn't make out what, but I said a quick 'ok' as he started to drive.  Once we got to the giant school, I could see the words Midtown High plastered onto the sign. "Peter" said Uncle Ben, "Yeah?". "I want to make sure you have a good first day-" "Ok, Uncle Ben. Bye!" I cut him off, eager to get to homeroom. I ran into the double doors, and everyone was crowding the hallway. I started walking to find my locker, but I got tripped by some other kid. "Sorry! Hey, you must be the new kid!" He said. "Yeah, it's fine. Um, I, uh, just moved here with my aunt and uncle. My name's Peter." I replied. "Ned. By the way, love the Empire Strikes Back sweatshirt!" He said eagerly. "Thanks, it's my favorite movie. I can tell you're a Star Wars fan too?" "Yeah, dude!" He said. "Anyway I should head to Homeroom, see ya." "Bye!" Great, Pete, you made a friend. See? First day's not so bad. Little did I know, I was in for a treat.
