Author's Note
Hey there.
This is an upcoming project of mine, titled The Whipping Tree. Obviously, haha. I posted this around the time Imaginer finished, or was on the verge of finishing. As always, thank you for stopping by! Unlike Imaginer, a novel I uploaded when it was already long completed and (kinda) edited, The Whipping Tree is still very much in progress. I'm not sure how I want it formatted. I'm not sure how I want it to be told. I'm not even sure what the plot or overarching message of it will be. But I do know that this is going to be my best novel yet; it's going to mean something, touch upon topics that might be sensitive or raise controversy, and that's okay with me, and I'm no less excited to share it with you er, Wattpadders. Paddies? Watties?
Con-crit is very, very, very welcome, especially because this is a story in its beginning stages. I'll be reiterating this as I update, in my chapter author notes. I ask that you readers be completely honest in what you think of the plot, the characters, the diction. One-liners are just as appreciated, though (:
May I present to you, dear readers, The Whipping Tree.
The picture seen in the multimedia portion of this page is the original photo used for The Whipping Tree. It is not mine, save for the title edited onto it. A link to the original photo can be found on my profile page, at the very bottom. Beautiful image, and I take no credit for it!
