Emma's POV

The children were playing together as usual after the test. I went in the library to look for more of William Minerva's books. There were surprisingly few of them.

After stacking them in my room and preparing for lunch, I went out to call the kids. I stopped dead in my tracks as I looked at them playing.

'This feels kind of familiar'

"Mama!" Ryuu exclaimed, holding a water bottle, modified like a plane. He ran up to me and asked, "Mama, will you play with us?"

I regained my composure "Hmm, this looks interesting. What exactly is this thing?" I faked curiosity, pointing at the water bottle airplane

"You know mama, When you fill this with water and air, it flies up really high and sprays water all over you! It's so fun!!"
"Really? Who taught you that?" I smiled
"Dallia! She dumped water all over me with this"

I looked at Dallia.

"Sorry mama, it just looked so fun to tease Ryuu" She said, sheepishly

I couldn't sense a trace of discomfort or lie on their face. But this can't be a coincidence. How and Why? Mia isn't stupid enough and neither is Xiel, then how?
Maybe they don't know and they're playing it as a game, they're all dripping wet after all.

"I'll play with you all some other day, now let's eat lunch. But first everyone, go change your clothes"

It must be a coincidence, but I'll keep a watch over them, just in case.
