Tomorrow

"Yoongi" as he watch him change his footing almost to make a quick getaway.
"Zane, I am not here to... I just want to talk... about Delaney" as Zane relaxed a little.
"She is safe that I can promise" as he nodded.
"I came to ask what she knows" as he looked at him.
"Shouldn't you be asking her that?"
"She isn't an open book" as Zane chuckled.

"What does she know?"
"She has a plan for Miko and Jeigh but she doesn't really know why and how it effects her is the worst I have seen her" as he looked to Zane "she isn't in any danger though, I will do most of it with Byron" as he smirked.

"Talk" he smiled at Yoongi's command. No one got to tell him what to do except her.
"Not many people see her for the danger she is" as Yoongi nodded.
"She is not like anyone else" as they both nodded in agreement. She was how the world should have revolved around as their worlds did.
"She is dangerous when she doesn't know the full story and her mind jumps to the worst conclusions" as Yoongi eyed him now.

"She thinks you care about Miko. I caught her following Miko, she was even right behind her" as he remembered the look on her face that day, it was a calm anger "your events and scheduled lined up with where she was quite often"
"Do you know Miko?"
"I have heard the rumours, many have" as Yoongi nodded.
"She probably has too then"
"I told her to talk to you" as he shook his head sighing, she hadn't done as he suggest but he knew she wouldn't "she was holding her keys, there is a pocket knife attached to it which I gave her as a gift" he looked up to Yoongi chuckling but he could also see the unease.
"I will try to bring it up, she is not easy to talk to when she is too focused" as he sighed. She was stubborn.

"You gave up your body guard for her" as he looked down at the ground.
"You make sure she comes back to me in one piece or you will be in pieces"
"But would she let you?" as he eyed him.
"You don't know her like I do"
"I know she is here cause of you, she told me what you did for her and how life was so unfair to us that it had us working against each other" as he shot his glance back up to Zane.
"She said that?" as he nodded.

"I hope you have as much faith in her as the rest of us do" as he nodded.
"She inspires loyalty, I had thought I was destined to be alone and I had liked it till she came along" she had seen through him from the very beginning.
"We are made from our circumstances" he couldn't help but agree, he knew those were her words and not Zane's and she saw past what he had wanted her to see, she had seen him for everything he was long before he let her in.
"I just want her to be safe" as he looked over to Byron who ran around the corner.
"She is coming... she isn't far, you need to hide" as he turned and nodded.

"Zane are you ok?" as he nodded.
"He only talked to me and I stayed back as you said" as she came rushing around the corner.
"He didn't say much?" as she eyed him nodding.
"Did he seem ok?" as he nodded at her and she closed her eyes.
"Are you ok Delaney?" as she smiled.
"I will be soon, you are officially joining the team soon. It is done" as he nodded.

"Delaney can I ask why?" as he hid around the corner.
"Sometimes in a lifetime we remember a handful of nights... that were memorable, ones where we feel our existence. The ones we remember for the rest of our lives and we know we were there for a reason" as she smiled to them.

"You are both extraordinary in your own ways, when you come together I dont need any other security" as they both looked to each other.
"And how does Yoongi fit into all this?" as she sighed looking at the ground.

"I just wanted to be by his side but my wings are clipped" as she looked at them "how easy it is to feel ten feet tall sometimes" as she smiled at them.
"Here are the pictures" she looked them over carefully picking out certain ones.
"These" as he nodded taking the envelope.

"In the moments I am lost and found" as she looked into Zane's eyes "I will see you soon" as she took a step towards him.
"I will be there right after I finish my errand" as she nodded.
"These walls are so high we can only walk around this maze" as he chuckled and looked at Byron who looked puzzled and she walked away.

He grabbed Byron's hand as he walked following her, turning to him "she knows Yoongi is here" as he tried to hold in his laughter. She was subtle and confusing at times, her train of thought moved faster than they could comprehend at times and her sense of humour changed with her moods.
"I will message you" as he nodded.

"You can come out now, she knew you were here" as he chuckled to himself.
"Byron once described her to me and she doesn't seem like the same person" as Zane smiled looking out to the road.
"The person I met in the park after you left was not the same, she was sad and broken but she was fierce. She wasn't as closed off as she is now or that untrusting" as he closed his eyes, he had been the one who did that to her "but she has her moments and she knew you were bound to find me so she has tabs on you and me so nothing happened" as he nodded.

"She isn't the same girl I remember, the same girl I met but I love her so much more now and when I see glimpses of the girl I met the whole world melts away and sometimes I just miss how she made me, me"
"I see it, she is extraordinary in so many ways. She is so guarded but still so vulnerable, she cares but is still distant enough to do what needs to be done... she is the balance people like us don't even know we need" as he nodded.
"She also helps us to open up" as Zane chuckled.
"Yes she does, she is good at hitting nerves" as they laughed together.

"Whatever this plan is, keep her safe" as he nodded.
"Byron can't tell you and I won't unless she says so" as he nodded, he understood that.
"We will call if anything happens" he nodded.
"Keep her safe" as he walked away.
"With my life" as he hesitated before walking off.

It had been surprising his encounter with Zane, perhaps he didn't know what to expect after he had been influence by her and he knew better than most what she was capable of. How she could change people so easily, inspire loyalty and faith. She was something no one else was, nothing about her beauty but her. Just her, that when you stripped her down she was merely a girl who believed in the good and saw the pure around her even if she didn't show it.

At her most vulnerable now he saw it, with Byron and Zane he saw that side of her that others didn't see yet. She was scared again and he knew why she was scared especially as she knew he was there. If he wasn't to put her in any danger he would need to stay away from her, so her plan would go smoothly cause if she saw him in that position again she would walk to him and she would put her life at risk.
