"Should I run away, should I stay? Should I run away, should I stay? Sho- ugh" Silvia sighed heavily. "What's the point of even doing this? I know I am not going anywhere" She mumbled to herself.

She was sitting alone by the sea side at night looking at the city with a half plucked rose in her hand trying to decide whether leaving the town and getting rid of her iniquitous aunt would be a right thing to do or not. Silvia was a petite girl, around 157 cm and she had tanned skin. She had shoulder length black hair along with a pretty face which at present was overshadowed by sadness.

"I am so tired of her always making me work for her and giving me barely anything in return, not even a bit of respect! Optimistically, I should think of myself as a cheap version of  Cinderella except that I am not kind or looking for a freaking ...

"I am so tired of her always making me work for her and giving me barely anything in return, not even a bit of respect! Optimistically, I should think of myself as a cheap version of  Cinderella except that I am not kind or looking for a freaking prince charming. I just want to be happy, is it too much to ask?" Silvia thought to herself with tears in her eyes

She had been living a treacherous life since she was 10 years old, that's when her parents passed away in an unfortunate car crash. For the past 8 years, she had been living with her aunt, Cara Smith who was vulgar and snobby and treated Silvia worse than a menial servant.

Silvia was fed up of her aunt and her life. She wanted to study biology as her major but her aunt did not let her apply to any of the universities in her city even though with her grades, she could have easily gotten in. Her aunt had hid her phone and laptop way before she graduated high school. Today she finally got her cell back but there was no point in that as all the application dates for all the universities had already been closed. Silvia was beaming with anger but she couldn't even dare to raise her voice against her aunt. She was scared of Cara. Cara had tormented her childhood.

Silvia's thoughts got interrupted by a loud bang! She heard a deafening noise which sounded much like a gun shot. The noise was coming from an alley pretty close  to her. Listening to that scary sound, she got up, took a sharp rock in her hand and decided to go check what was happening . She felt that her life was meaningless however if she, perhaps, save someone, she  would feel a little more braver and happier.

Slowly she made her way through the long dark alley, everything became relatively quiet just like the silence right before a storm.

She finally made it to the end of the alley where there was a turn and she stopped right there as she could hear someone speaking. She tilted her head a little and saw two manly figures standing with a big polybag lying beside them. Their back was turned to her and one of the men was holding something.

"We finally got it!" said the man on the right. His voice was very heavy as if he was a chain smoker. The other exclaimed, "MAN! Boss would be so happy!" This person on the left had a  high pitched voice as compared to the other and sounded very excited. The former guy calmly replied, "Now, grab the bag and let's get out of here, he'll probably gain consciousness soon and before that you know where he should be." Then both the men started loading the bag inside the trunk of a black jeep

Hearing all that, Silvia started to worry about who 'he' was and what had they done to him. She dialed 911 but there was no signal. So, she started recording the scene and the jeep's license plate number so she had proof and could report to the police. When she thought she had enough evidence, she stopped recording and slowly backed away.

Suddenly she bumped into something and as she turned around, she saw a huge man holding an injection in his hand with a scary smirk on his face. Before, she could analyze anything, that man injected her arm and in a split second she lost consciousness.
