Hi there,
Merry Christmas and happy new year! I believe we are still keeping safe. Since this is last week in 2021, am writing about faith. How beautiful it has been and I did not pay particular attention to it till now.Have you crossed the path of faith? Did you ever throw something at faith and the result was good, perfect or better?
I remembered vividly somewhere in 2016, I threw a situation at faith and it was more than perfect; Back in Ghana, in the 2016, I was working in this little company in Accra while I stay in Tema, the distance between Accra and Tema is 30 kilometers, this is about 30 minutes drive in public bus commonly known as “trotro” but with personal drive it is about 15 to 20 minutes drive. So one morning, I was short of transfer fee to work, I ran to my Dad for help, he’s someone who does not like to give money unnecessarily, especially early morning, Lol, God rest his soul, Amen! With much plead, I was given just a day transport.I took the money, left with excitement. I got to the gate before I asked myself “what about tomorrow?” I walked few distance and told myself again “oh God will Provide!” as walked by few houses, for the first time this new neighbor asked for my directions and described and he said, he is heading towards exact my way. The joy I felt inside of me, I cannot even shout for joy but my way of saying thanks to my neighbor says it all. He drove straight to the gate of my office. I stood at the entrance of the gate saw him drove away and I looked up to the sky and asked “Is that You?”
So I got to the office and my boss lady was already there, I was surprised she came early, upon seening me, she gave orders to get the conference room ready and go for breakfast and lunch from the near by restaurant, I was surprised as well, conferences always come with lunch not breakfast, after the conference, there was much more food left over because the turn out was low. When everything was over, I sat in my chair and think how lucky I am but remembering everything now, it was not lucky but rather faith and blessing better still miracles upon miracles!. This has brought a very popular song in mind
“so so wonders Jesus dey do,
he buttered my bread, sugar my koko” with this song, He did not only sugar my koko (porridge) but He milked it as well.I do not think blessing must be big or huge before we recognize them. We have to appreciate the little blessings which are very important in our daily lives.
In my scenario, I think faith plays the most important role and blessing fellow just like that. These few days in Togo has not been easy but I place everything into the hands of faith and prayers and I can really see the difference. I asked myself, why did it takes me so long to reconnect with faith when I have tasted it before? I should have pay more attention to it and I believe I will not be struggling now. I believe it never too late because there’s nothing late in life.
For more understanding faith, I want to share few of quotes on faith and hope it is useful to all of us. Most of them from the Bible;
a) 2 Corinthians 5:7 walk by faith not by sight. So the Bible knows very well that our sight alone cannot help us through this life.
b) Hebrews 11:6 And without faith, it’s impossible to please Him, to whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.
I believe that if we (Christians, Muslims and other religious groups) don’t believe or have faith that there’s some supernatural being somewhere up there listening to us down here then there’s no point in power to pray and believe in receiving answers, therefore I personally believe there is GOD through faith.
c) Matthew 17:20 “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” Can you see or feel the powers in the last sentence? Nothing will be impossible for you with these words, we should be able to conquer everything in our lives, it is never going to be that easy but if we believe and know that we can, then we shall surely will.
Last but not the least, this is from Elisa Pulliam; “Faith is the thing we have to cling to when we’re in deepest part of the trial” This is so true, it is only faith that helps us through storms of life, meaning, when troubles come and you tell yourself “time will heal!” you have faith in there, that is why you are giving it to time and that the healing process. I have been there before when the Doctor said there’s no hope, I told myself, you are not God, therefore I have faith in my God and am patiently waiting for His appropriate time!
So as this year comes to an end, my theme for the year 2022 is “2022, my year of deeper faith” meaning am going to hold on to tight faith for greater things because the God that am worshipping is still in the business of doing mighty or great things. Hold on to your faith and keep praying.May the new year brings us closer to God. May we experience Him more, believing and trust His plans for us all. Happy new year, cheers to the new beginning.
May this year be a year of deep faith in whatever we want to do. Happy new year family.Am able to write little lyrics in a hasty, I hope it’s good. XoXo
It’s dark on this side
It’s so blur all around you
It’s so unclear, that’s what’s your naked eyes see. It’s human nature in bad times.
Maybe it’s supposed to be so that faith could come along, put in little faith and you’ll see how…..
…..how beautiful is faith?, give this to faith and see the result, faith is so beautiful. It makes everything right when time is dueDo you ever think you can get over it? You believe you’ve come to the end of the road. When you tell yourself time will heal (faith is in there) Faith works with time (process). You just have to believe, trust and wait patiently.
It’ll surely make everything beautiful
Go ahead, try it, oh just leave it in the hands of faith and see, it makes it all beautiful. Yes it does, every little bit of it all.#faith #beautyfaith #strongfaith #faithworks #deeperfaith #poweroffaith #blessingwithfaith #clingtofaith #yearoffaith #timeandfaith #havefaith
