Draco Malfoy one shots

Rainy days ~ fluff

(I'm not the best with writing, these are my first one shots to post so don't expect it to be the best 😭)
Year - any year after 4th
House - Slytherin

Over the holidays you stay over Malfoy Manor, you wake up in the middle of the night as the rain outside disturbs you, waking you up. You hear it tapping against the window of Draco's room. You turn over to find him sleeping peacefully as he holds you protectively, you smile to yourself and lift your hand up gently cupping his face, stroking your thumb against his cheek lightly, being careful not to wake him. You think to yourself how lucky you are to have such a heartwarming, caring person right before your eyes as he smiles soft nuzzling his head to your touch.

Before you know it he opens his eyes looking at you with such love and care "now what's my love doing up so late?" He says in a raspy voice. He lifts his hand up to yours, lifting it from his face to his lips kissing it with such gentleness. You flush a little smiling at him. Your nervousness never seemed to go away, ever since he took you on your first date to go stargazing, overlooking the black lake with Hogwarts in the distance watching the sunset, or when he took your hand to dance with you for the very first time at the Yule ball. You had so much love for him and love each-other more as the days pass.

"Hmm?" He hums at you waiting for your answer, you smile at him "the rain woke me up that's all, you go back to sleep" you say softly. You leave a soft kiss on his forehead, he rubs his thumb against your hand smiling. "As much as I'd love to sleep darling, you're more important, now let's get you a blanket love, you're freezing". He brings his hand up to your chin, lifting your head up, giving you a quick kiss as he gets up walking over to his dresser, taking out a blanket.

He looks out the window for a second before turning back to you, wrapping the blanket around your body. "It really is pouring it down out there, isn't it?". You smile taking the blanket off him as he sits down with you laying back against the headboard of the bed. "I find it pretty relaxing though, it's just a bit too loud" you smile as he lets out a small chuckle.

He gently moves a strand of your hair out of your face and pulls you into his arms as he strokes your hair, brushing his fingers through it softly. You get more comfortable laying against him. "go to sleep angel", he smiles down at you, admiring your beauty as you close your eyes falling in a deep slumber. He kisses your head "sweet dreams my love" he whispers before falling asleep himself.
