it was just an average day at the precinct, Chloe was working her huge pile of paperwork and Lucifer was standing in the precinct kitchen eating Dan's pudding while talking to a bunch of uni's about how lux was going, none of them were listening they were all just gushing at how handsome he is.
chloe wasn't jealous when it came to that since she knew he couldn't control it and neither could the uni's since they are attracted to the desire that radiates off of him, not who he actually is. And he would never cheat on her, that was something she would never doubt.
"I'm pretty sure lux is one of the if not the best night clubs in all of America!" She heard him say. It made her giggle a bit, he looked like a little boy talking about the gifts he got on Christmas, she thought it was adorable.
She finished up her paperwork around 6 PM.
"Hey lucifer, I finished the paperwork" she got up from her chair and grabbed her things.
"Good work detective!" He told her with a toothy grin, "thanks, you know i thing i might just be the best detective in America" she told him sarcastically.
"Oh is that the sin of pride detective? My my, never thought you would be much of a rule breaker." He told her with a chuckle , "i've broken plenty of rules considering i'm sleeping with the devil and it's not like you weren't commenting the sin of pride earlier today either." She had the same grin on her face as he did.
"Touché detective"
