Chapter 11

You woke up the next morning with a terrible headache, honestly you just wanted to stay in bed all day and never get up. But of course Suna wouldn't let you.

Suna forced you to make plans with him and you decided to go along because he wouldn't stop bothering you about it.

So there you were, getting dressed to go on a walk with him.

Y/N POV

I went into my bathroom and freshened up. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and did all the other necessary things.

Finally I finished getting dressed and texted Suna to pick me up. A few minutes later I got a call from Suna saying he was outside.

I went downstairs and before heading out the door I picked up some tylenol's to help with the headache and a bottle of water.

"Where are you going?"

I turn around to see my mom standing at the kitchen counter staring at me.

"Out." I said quickly.

"Out where?" she questioned you even further.

"Aren't you supposed to be at work?" I asked avoiding the question.

"I'm going in late today, i wanted to talk to you about last night." she said.

"Well I don't so i'm going to get going now." you said as you unlocked the door ready to escape this conversation.

"Y/N come here." your mom said sternly.

I turn back to see my mom staring at me, anger starting to fill her eyes. Honestly, I didn't want to hear what she had to say. Whenever she tried to "make peace" with me, she'd always make herself the victim and with my headache, I didn't have time for it today.

"No thanks." you said before quickly slipping out the door and running to Suna's car.

I jump in the car and tell him to hurry up and go.

I looked down at my phone to see a text from my mom.

"Are you with that boy again?"
"y/n answer the phone now."
"Where are you?"

I turned your notifications off, I didn't have time to deal with her. Instead I turned to look at who was in the driver seat.

"We're going to the park." he said.

I just nodded my head and looked out the window.

Suna pulls into a parking place, putting the car into park and turn over to you.

"Get out." he said with no expression on his face.

Instead of questioning him like I'd normally would, i simply just got out of the car.

A few minutes into your walk around the park Suna noticed your quietness.

"What's wrong with you?" he asked.

"Parents." you said bluntly not wanting to get too much into the topic.

Apparently he understood that you didn't want to talk about it and didn't ask anymore questions.

I reached for his hand intertwining it with mine as we walked.

"You can stay at my house for a while if you want to, my mom won't be home for a while."

"Yes actually, I'd like that." I said.

"I just need to pick up some clothes after my mom goes to work and I should be fine." you said with a genuine smile on your face.

~Timeskip~

It was a few hours later, after walking around the park, and smoking on swings, you and Suna finally get back to his car.

"My mom should be at work now, I can grab some clothes." I said.

Suna got the message and made his way to your house.

You both had made it to your house in a few minutes as the park wasn't far.

"You can come in if you want while i pack." I told Suna before leaving the cat.

He quickly followed behind me as we made our way to my bedroom. I grabbed an old bookbag from out of my closet and stuffed some clothes, a toothbrush, hair supplies, and other small essentials like deodorant and perfume. I also grabbed my stash.

Once everything was in my bag we decided to stay at my house for a little before we went to his. We layed down on the bed together and talked about my parents.

It was times like these that I really enjoyed. Spending time being vulnerable, even though it scared me, i liked it. I liked being able to confide in somebody.

After about an hour or so we finally decided to leave and head to Sun's house.
