Very first Tom post! If there are any hate comments to me or anybody including Tom or other users they will be deleted. Hope you enjoy!

I continue to pace around the living room. Being pregnant may make me stress a little more but I know I definitely have the right to stress about this. I hear our bedroom door open and footsteps heading down the stairs. "Darling, what are you doing up? It's the middle of the night." He asks. He yawns and walks over to me, wrapping his arms around me from behind.   "I'm sorry, I'm just stressing." I respond. He kisses me on my cheek and relaxes his head on my shoulder. "About what love? You know it's not good for the baby." I look down at my stomach and put my hands around it. "Don't remind me. But I just keep thinking about how we're not even close to ready to have a baby."

I turn around and rest my hands on his neck. He moves his to the back of my waist. "What are you talking about? I thought you wanted this." The little emotion in his eyes fades from happy to sad. "I do honey. We just don't have everything we need, and I'm only a month away. What if the baby comes 2 weeks early and we don't have everything. We don't even have a crib yet, where will they sleep? Oh my goodness what are we gonna do?" I shut my eyes and drop my head. Tom smiles and lifts it back up. "We'll be alright darling. We'll go to the store tomorrow and get everything we don't have. You don't have to stress anymore." He takes my hand and starts to lead me back to our room "Ok, but maybe I should make a list."

He chuckles as we start to walk up the stairs. "You worry too much (Y/n). You don't have to. Right now, you and the baby just need some rest. We'll get the list in the morning." He shuts the door and helps me into bed. He gets in himself and cuddles into me. We drift off to sleep and in the morning Tom isn't next to me. I sit up on the bed and yawn. I look around the room and head downstairs. I see Tom cooking in the kitchen. "Ah! Goodmorning love. I decided to make you breakfast, after all we have a long day of shopping ahead of us." He finishes making me breakfast and sets the plate in front of me. I grab my silverware and dig in. "Thank you baby." I say after taking my first bite. He gives me a smile and puts the dirty dishes in the sink.

"This is delicious!" I exclaim. I like my lips and take a sip from my drink. "Only the best for my girl." He says walking over and giving me a kiss on the top of my head, cup of coffee in his hand. He takes a sip and rubs my belly. "How's our little one this morning?" He asks. "They're doing good. A bit kicky, but good." I reply. He nods and takes another drink from his coffee. "I made the list. I looked through the room and made a checklist of everything we'll need. So whenever you're ready we can go shopping." I finish my meal and as the time passes Tom and I figure out the stores we're gonna go to. We head out and go to at least 5 different stores. We get everything we need for our little baby. When we get home I want to set everything up right away. We get the crib and set the box in our living room.

"Ok, go sit on the couch." Tom says. "What? Why?" He tilts his head and puts his arms on his sides. "Darling, you're pregnant. I don't want you getting hurt or anything. Let me do all the heavy lifting." "But that's not fair." I argue back. He looks down and shakes his head. He walks towards me and picks me. "Tom! What are you doing?" I say laughing a bit. He sets me down gently on the couch and hands me the remote. "Anything else my love?" He questions. "Yes, I want to be able to help." "Water, got it." He goes to the kitchen and completely ignores my urge to want to build the baby structures. He comes back with a glass full of water. "Tom, I'm serious. I want to be able to help." I say taking the water from him. "I know (Y/n). But I don't want you to go through all this trouble. Who knows what could happen. I just want you to be alright. So, please, watch your show or movie. And if you need anything else from me, just say the word."

I give him half a smile and take a drink from my water. He moves the crib box closer to me so I can be a little involved. I turn on my favorite show and get comfy on the couch. Tom opens the box and takes all the parts out.  He gets all the tools needed and gets started. About halfway through making the crib, I hear Tom grunt. "Are you alright?" I ask. He sighs and looks up to me. "I just don't understand why they make these things so complicated. Maybe I just need a break." He stands up, heading towards the kitchen, kissing my head on the way over.

He grabs a drink from the fridge and comes back to sit next to me. "You know, if I was helping-" "Oh don't go there." He smiles and takes a sip from his drink. I move over to him and he puts his arm around me. I lay my head on his shoulder and take his hand in mine. I look up to him and he looks down to me. He gives me a quick peck on the lips and we turn back to the tv. He rests his head on mine and I slowly drift off to sleep.
